As we grow into a more dancer- and user-led organisation, there are lots of ways to get involved.

We are seeking to appoint a Creative Learning Producer who will help us to continue creating incredible programmes for schools in Powys. Creative education and the curriculum for Wales is such an important strand to our work at Impelo. (1/3)

In the foreground a cut out of a woman dancing from her torso up, she has been edited into black and white with a bright red but slightly blurry outline. She is using her arms, one stretched out, the other slightly bent over her head. There is a big green title, 'RaD' and a tagline 'A residency programme for dance artists in Powys to connect, explore, play and grow.' Two logos can be seen at the bottom in white, one is the Arts Council of Wales and the other is Impelo.

There will be a temporary pause in all of Impelo's outreach work as well as the closure of The Dance Centre starting April 2024. This decision stems from the recent loss of multi-year funding and is amplified by the escalating cost of living.(2/2) impelo.org.uk/impelo-news/pr…

As a dance community, we're used to expressing the inexpressible. Yet, today, words must carry the weight of our circumstances, as we explore a new future.

Saib Dros Dro — Impelo

Fel cymuned ddawns, rydyn ni wedi arfer mynegi'r anfynegadwy. Ond, heddiw, rhaid i eiriau gario pwysau ein hamgylchiadau, wrth i ni archwilio dyfodol newydd.

Bydd saib dros dro yn holl waith allgymorth Impelo yn ogystal â chau'r Ganolfan Ddawns gan ddechrau ym mis Ebrill 2024. Mae'r penderfyniad hwn yn deillio o'r ffaith bod cyllid aml-flwyddyn wedi'i golli'n ddiweddar ac mae costau byw cynyddol yn cynyddu'r penderfyniad hwn. (2/3)

Update - Investment Review 2023
Today’s investment review news has hit us hard. We are feeling incredible sadness at the Arts Council’s decision not to fund us past April 2024. Whilst we let this news land with our staff, dance artists and communities, all projects and programmes will continue over the coming months. We move. Jemma & Suzy Artistic and Executive Directors, Impelo.
