lol, I started digging into $LAPTOP because honestly my assumption was that a rogue operator added a bad LP, the team started to panic, and well today happened. I was looking to defend them.
But, as I'm digging into it, my takeaway is basically:
The team added 30k total tokens and 250 total USDC (1b supply, 30k tokens is not even .03% of supply, it's .003%)
First of all, LOL, what????
To make matters worse, it appears that

(wintermute funded, labelled and attributed wallet) received 2m tokens and then sent 810k tokens to
0x4B3F1048C55Faa0C0873e249E541139360501f2a
which proceeded to sell 609k tokens for ~2.46m USD, of that 156,000 tokens were sold in the first hour, for $1.2m USD
Just to make sure we're on the same page here:
30,000 LAPTOP tokens were in circulation when 5x that amount was dumped by the market maker in the first hour.
I'm not a market maker, and maybe I got some things wrong, open to corrections here, but this does not seem like standard market making operations to me, perhaps they were not informed of the miniscule liq add, but it is at minimum a gross oversight to not recognize the FDV and come to the conclusion that the pool was at minimum configured incorrectly.
