You’ll find it incredibly difficult to find anyone who has a bad word to say about Harry Kane, a consummate professional and ridiculously talented footballer who grafted to get to where he is today. I’m absolutely delighted for him and I’d love to see him win a Champions League with this Bayern team.

What makes you think these players will magically raise their game on Saturday after what we’ve witnessed over the last few weeks? In one way I agree with keeping him on by way of not pandering to them again as they always survive in these situations. The club captain is at odds with him, it’s a fractured dressing room, the potential drop has never been more realistic than it is right now.

Conte is my choice, this lot need a rude awakening, if the initial chaos leads to stabilisation then just go for it. The fans see through the antics more clearly than ever, a disciplinarian who has experience in the league and has a winners medal as a coach is probably needed.

That clip of Carrick being applauded by the fans only for them to completely switch up on the players as soon as he entered the tunnel might be one of the most powerful things I’ve ever seen as a supporter. The longer this goes the more magnified that microscope will become, you can’t overlook such a toxic pattern anymore.

Absolute sad state of affairs that this is how Bruno will go about leaving the club. Grateful for him ultimately giving us his best years at the club when he could’ve gone elsewhere and maybe that’s where the frustrations lie on his end, but it doesn’t excuse his conduct since last week, he’s the captain and this is not leading by example.

Can’t help but feel so heartbroken for him, loves the club inside out, like every other manager before him, I wish it could’ve worked out. 💔

Btw, the ownership absolutely love all the infighting amongst the fans here, all the online crowd going at fans who may have been happy and positive during the second half of last season and backed Carrick. This has been one of the biggest cultural issues about this football club for the last decade, fans wanting to be proven right and actually enjoying the rock bottom periods because they can point fingers at anyone but the owners.
