If an OKC center set a screen so hard it caused a player to be out 4 months and then tackled another player in mid air breaking his ankle leading to a season ending injury, there would be endless 500k liked tweets about how reckless and dirty OKC is.
Instead it happens to OKC and we get tweets about how Dort used to be dirty and our players deserve it.

Sports is one of the most important ways that cities around the world establish a global identity. And I have said for years that it is OKC’s aspiration to be a global city.
For the last 15 years, international communications firm Burson has ranked the world’s top 100 sports cities. The ranking reads like a who’s who of the world’s greatest cities.
This year, for the first time, Oklahoma City has entered the top 100, at No. 86.
As the home of the 2025 NBA Champion Thunder, two sports of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, the Women’s College World Series, and one of the finest paddlesport facilities in the world, OKC’s sports reputation has now attained global status.
And with a new billion-dollar arena and multipurpose stadium currently under construction, we’re not slowing down.

EMS call a STEMI alert based on their prehospital ECG. You review it and there's STEMI criteria. However, the ED ECG has no STEMI.
Do you:
(a) Tell the EMS they are bozos that don't know how to obtain an ECG, or
(b) Proceed with STEMI activation protocol
Anecdotally, this seems to come up all the time. The question is whether this is artifact or the patient has a major lesion that may have auto-lysed.
In this study of >24,000 prehospital ECGs with 293 STEMIs. There were 22% that had resolution of the STEMI on the ED ECG.
Among those that had persistent STEMI findings, 85% of them had a lesion of >/=95% on cardiac cath. Comparatively, among those with resolution of the STEMI, 63% of them also had a lesion of the same magnitude.
Therefore, while the resolution of the STEMI findings confers a 26% lower relative risk of a total or near-total lesion, this risk is still substantial. This suggests that among those who likely auto-lysed en route, there is still a high probability of finding a significant lesion.
