One cannot claim parents are freely choosing, when in reality one option is readily available and the other, the inclusive classroom, is not. It is clear that @EPSBNews prefers to segregate children with autism.

ICYMI, check out the recording of @InclusiveEdCan's webinar on partial day attendance. “Partial day” means repeatedly dismissing children from school with no access to education, an issue becoming increasingly prevalent nationwide. A great watch for parents and educators:

"When we deprive students of access to #inclusiveeducation and full attendance at schools, we rob them of access to equality of opportunity." Today, we hosted @KellyLamrockNB, Child and Youth Advocate from NB, along with other professionals in the inclusive education space which included lawyers, educators, and more. We discussed the hidden and damaging practice of partial day attendance for children with disabilities in schools across Canada. We also shared some preliminary results from our recent survey on partial day attendance. We had an insightful discussion and have taken lessons and notes for future action to fight this exclusionary practice that is destroying our children's futures and potential.
