🔹The event brought together experts from India and the U.S. to explore new opportunities for collaboration in space technology, innovation, research and education, further strengthening the India–U.S. strategic partnership.

In his keynote remarks, Consul General highlighted opportunities to deepen India–US trade and investment ties and strengthen technology partnerships through closer engagement with the Bay Area business community. Mr. Mukesh Aghi @MukeshAghi of USISPF also addressed the gathering.
The evening brought together the warmth of a welcome and the joy of Diwali, celebrating friendship across the India–US business community.

State Bank of India (California), a wholly owned subsidiary of the State Bank of India (SBI), inaugurated its new branch in Frisco, Texas, marking its first expansion beyond California.
Consul General D.C. Manjunath joined SBI Group Chairman C.S. Setty and Frisco Mayor Mark Hill at the inauguration ceremony.
The new branch will offer retail and business banking services, including deposits, commercial lending and international remittances, catering to individuals, professionals, entrepreneurs and businesses in North Texas.
CG welcomed the expansion of SBI’s presence in the United States and highlighted its significance in strengthening financial connectivity, supporting the Indian diaspora and promoting India–U.S. economic and commercial ties.
