An #IndianNavy motorcycle expedition comprising 04 officers and 11 sailors was flagged off from New Delhi by Vice Admiral CR Praveen Nair, Controller Personnel Services,#CPS on 21 Oct 26.
The expedition will traverse Jaipur, Ujjain, Khandwa, Bandhavgarh, Pench, Panna and Gwalior, covering approximately 3,000 km over 12 days.
Beyond the ride, the team will engage with students and local communities, sharing insights into life in the #IndianNavy and inspiring young minds to explore a career in the Service.

Advancing Naval Cooperation
Translating Strategic Vision to Stronger Maritime Partnerships
Adm Giuseppe Berutti Bergotto, Chief of Staff, @ItalianNavy, on an official visit to India, was received by Adm Krishna Swaminathan, #CNS, and accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour at South Block Lawns, New Delhi.

Indian Naval Ships of the 1st Training Squadron INS Tir, Sujata and ICGS Sarthi carried out joint surveillance and Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with Seychelles Coast Guard vessel PS Andromache after departing Port Victoria.
The PASSEX reinforced the close maritime security partnership between India and Seychelles.
PASSEX provides an opportunity for ships and crew to practise operating together at seaโstrengthening communication, coordination and interoperability while honing seamanship skills.
The PASSEX marked a culmination of the visiting shipsโ engagements in Seychelles. Furthermore, it spotlit an enduring friendship and a shared commitment to a safe, secure and stable Indian Ocean Region.

The Indian Navy conducts IPRD-2026 with the National Maritime Foundation (NMF) as its knowledge partner. As the principal manifestation of the Indian Navy's annual strategic outreach, the Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue (IPRD) brings together leading scientists, technologists, academics, strategists and policymakers from across the world to advance one or more of the seven maritime lines of thrust under the Indo-Pacific Oceans Initiative (IPOI) โ the first-order articulation of India's maritime policy, MAHASAGAR (Mutual And Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth Across Regions).
Over three days, IPRD-2026 will convene five thematic sessions addressing:

#INSTarkash sailed from Simonโs Town on 15 Oct 26 for the Sea Phase of #IBSAMAR_IX. Ahead of sailing, Command Teams from the #IndianNavy, #BrazilianNavy and #SouthAfricanNavy convened for a joint Pre-Sailing Conference on 14 Oct 26 to deliberate on the conduct, coordination and execution of the Sea Phase.
VAdm Monde Lobese, Chief of the #SouthAfricanNavy, visited #INSTarkash and interacted with the Commanding Officer and crew. The harbour phase also included a cultural evening onboard, attended by H.E. Mr Prabhat Kumar, High Commissioner of India to the Republic of South Africa, officials from the Indian Mission, and senior military and government functionaries from South Africa and Brazil.
