Saltbox is almost, if not quite there. Both halves now presenting as one room. Bit of work to do on the curtains but I’m not unhappy with it.

My son has a tortoise, about 5 years old which lives in a viv for most of the time although he does come out. I noticed his beak was getting a bit long and told him he might need it trimming. I swear to god the tortoise walked straight to his brick and started filing it!

The video depicts an impossible real-world scene, as mongooses are not native to Arizona's Sonoran Desert with saguaro cacti and rattlesnakes; similar clips are AI-generated. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongoose easystreetmarkets.com/wildlife/arizo… plantnative.org/native-plants/… youtube.com/shorts/J2_flXk…

I've been saying this for years! Bittensor's subnets have been convening meaninglessly for all this time and now at last Gamma tokens are here. Praise be!
Gamma tokens are set to change how Bittensor’s subnets collaborate and convene. They push for a more connected space, building meaningful interdependence within the protocol. They bear a striking resemblance to Émile Durkheim’s “organic solidarity” - where specialised parts of a community contribute distinct functions for each other. It’s a celebration of how diverse and multi-faceted the ecosystem has grown. Check out my breakdown here kaijmorris.substack.com/p/bi…

I am always calling it this from now on.
what do British people call pins and needles? Feels like one of those things where I’m gonna be minding my business some day and get jump scared by someone telling me y’all call it something like “millions and billions of crumpet spiders”

I was looking for some kind of feelgood punchline here but nope, just your regular really stupid racist. What's the matter with people?
I went to the dentist. Instead of my regular dentist, an Indian dentist came to look at my teeth. I asked why my regular dentist was not there, and they said she works on different days. I rescheduled for a different day. The Indian knew why I refused. I am NOT going to an Indian dentist.

Read the answer to this. The entire religion is predicated on paedophilia and anyone who follows it should be identified as bring in favour of these practices.
Hey @grok did the founder of the Islamic Regime of Iran written a book in which he explained how to legally sexual molest babies under Islamic law?

They will say literally anything before they achieve the power they seek but there is no mechanism in place to make them keep their empty promises. Why do people still believe them?

I have always been struck by just how quiet it is inside a carriage being pulled by a steam engine.
Half my family are steam train enthusiasts. We arrange holidays around the bloody things. I think they're stupid and noisy and smelly and slow. Modern electric trains are so much better. But I never say, so as not to spoil their fun.

This is the most remarkable story Ray Bradbury ever shared with me. He told it late at nigh, sitting in his den of antiquities and mementos. Take five minutes to read this. It’s pure magic. #Writing #Living #Creativity #RayBradbury #Book

Can’t remember why this bloke blocked me but this is a common misattribution and the poem is officially anonymous. First appeared in 1944 so it’s possible it was Spike.
