So if the DC ClayFace movie, which is based on DC Characters, with the biggest criticism of it being it’s not being true to DC Comics( i.e the Batman villain doesn’t have Batman) wasn’t based on DC comics it would be good. Tried to be deep but just said it’s a bad DC Film😭

Having individual stories are good, but a big part of DC are the teams and events. If you want to build a universe, you have to build towards something. Star Wars tells individual stories with tonal differences yet stills leads to something. James Gunn doesn’t understand that.
James Gunn is defending the DCU and his decision to expand the universe with “individual stories”:
“The DCU is just an alternate universe; we can enter at any location or time and tell THAT story. I dislike the idea that individual stories aren’t meaningful unless they lead to something else. People not understanding this is strange to me, because ‘Star Wars’ has essentially been doing this for 50 years across movies, shows, games and books, admittedly without the tonal variety."

It’s unfortunate because i do think the inhumans would still be around if it wasn’t for ike and the whole trying to replace x men thing but i don’t think the inhumans will be gone forever like how long is marvel gonna survive off the same 3 teams it gets old.

MCU better not be all X-Men films I want other mutant teams like New Mutants and X-Force. I hate when people say X-Men when they talk about Mutants in general.
I 100% agree my opinion is that Marvel and most of the Fanbase will never give Eternals or Inhumans a chance the only reason X-Men are more Iconic is because Marvel likes them and wants money

Man being a Sentry fan is painful because yeah he is a potential man, THE potential man, and it hurts because apparently nobody can fucking write him correctly except Jenkins. I’m happy with the mini we got but it’s time to accept he’s just dead as a character
