Life as an adorable orange Yoshi in a hat sure is nice. Lovable, carefree, and always eager to help others with my cuteness. If you’re ever feeling stressed, this adorable video game dinosaur is here for you. (Collage credits in reply) #Yoshi #Yoshisona

I saw “Wildwood” yesterday. It is stupendous. If you are looking for a new fantasy epic, this is the movie for you. It is on the level of “Lord of the Rings”, “Game of Thrones” and others. There are literally no corners cut. It is spectacular. This movie is great for kids, too.

16 yrs in development… the behind of scenes on how wildwood was made is CRAZY! so how much hard work and dedication that ai could never recreate. im in actual tears.

Laika has perfected stop-motion animation. Where previous movies have little imperfections to show the hand-animated nature of its production, “Wildwood” minimizes them as much as possible. It is astounding how clean it all is. And that final act! Oh my god!

Across their past five films never have LAIKA ever needed to disclaim this. Yet it’s all so important and urgent as to why we need to support handmade animation. All is say see WILDWOOD if you haven’t (esp on the biggest screen you can). Tell your friends. It’s such a triumph.

The world would rather watch something crudely made by hand with heart than made by soulless AI born of theft

China’s first AI-generated theatrical film, ‘Sanxingdui: Future Past’, has bombed at their domestic box office, only making $121,000 USD against a budget of $1.5M USD. In contrast, the crudely animated ‘Niu Lai’ made nearly $10M USD against a budget of $200-500 USD.

A shocking W from Disney. Jenny Nicholson made a 4 hour video about one of Disney’s biggest failures and Disney is having her on a “Simpsons” episode that is about that failure! Congratulations, Jenny!

Gracias, amigo. My life was immeasurably changed for the better by having met Eric Bauza in 2003. He just made everything he worked on better. A generational talent. A legend. I would write and design characters giddy thinking how he would bring them to life. And behind the scenes, an incredibly kind, humble and open-hearted good dude. How luck we all were to have been able to witness his talent shine. And boy did it shine!!! My heart goes out to his family and friends. Adios, amigo. You will never be forgotten.

It’s even sadder that the last time we hear his voice was in Coyote vs. Acme, which almost didn’t happen. Very grateful I got to grow up with his amazing talent. RIP Eric Bauza, thank you for our childhoods. ❤️ 🙏

Eric Bauza has sadly passed away at the age of 46. The modern voice of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck alongside many other beloved characters.
