I had a similar experience in 2021
That was when I learned that the brain can switch off even when u are not feeling sleepy
Congratulations to you
Two months ago, I had an accident that could have killed me and other people, under certain conditions. I was researching a new topic. So, I spent the whole night reading. Knowledge often feels like drugs to me. Once I'm learning something new and interesting, my whole body will be hyper and charged.
Till morning, I didn't feel exhausted. So, I drove out to quickly run an errand. I had a blackout. It was like someone switched my button off. I opened my eyes and met myself almost entering the gutter on the opposite side. In my half-aware state, I panicked and swerved back to my own side of the road. I tried balancing the steering but I couldn't. My car jumped the gutter and hit a kiosk that was by the road.
I came down from the car, called my mechanic and paid some men to help me remove the car and I went home to sleep. It was around 7am on a Saturday. If I had my children in the car or if I was living in a busy area, the story would probably have been different. If someone was in the kiosk, the story could have been different.
I learnt an important lesson. No matter how much I have to read, I prioritize sleep now. If I'm unable to get six hours of sleep in the night, I don't drive myself the next day. The life we're hustling for can just be gone in an instant š«°š¾ if we're not careful.
To someone like me out there, learn when to slow down. I had to replace my bumper, radiator, fan and repair the bonnet, before repainting the car. It cost me a lot of money. But it could have cost me my life...and that of my loved ones.

We will continue to urge young people to embrace their family business. Money isnāt what you need to help the business grow; your understanding of how to market to your generation is what matters.
That is an advantage you have over others embrace it for good. You have the internet for all that you need, so position yourself for opportunities.

On 17th October 2026, Joy and Ada were involved in a ghastly motorcycle accident at Ago Iwoye, Ogun State after a reckless driver named IDRIS OLAITAN hit them from behind. Since that terrible day, both of them have been battling severe injuries, unimaginable pain, and a difficult journey toward recovery.
Joy and Ada are both students of Olabisi Onabanjo University and it happened around the school area.
Joy is still currently in the hospital receiving treatment and her family has already raised almost 3 million naira , which was used for her initial emergency treatment and the first surgery she had to undergo after the accident.
Unfortunately, because of the severity of the accident and the sensitive areas of her body that were affected, Joyās treatment does not end with the first surgery and has been informed that she needs two additional surgeries to properly correct and treat injuries to her hip and ankle and and she will also require plastic surgery,post-surgery care, medication, hospital bills, and other necessary medical attention throughout her recovery.
The additional surgeries and post-surgery care are expected to cost approximately ā¦4 million more.
Her family already raised and spent almost 3 million for her initial treatment, we are once again asking for your help because she still has a long and expensive road to recovery ahead of her.
Adaās case became extremely critical following the accident. Due to the severity of her injuries, she had to be transferred to another hospital for urgent treatment after she was rejected at the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi.
She is in urgent need of surgery, and the estimated cost of her treatment is approximately 6 million
Her family is doing everything possible, but this amount is far beyond what they can comfortably afford, which is why we are reaching out to everyone who can help.
The families have already done everything they can, but they cannot carry this financial burden alone.
Ada needs approximately ā¦6 million for her urgent surgery and treatment.
Joy needs approximately ā¦4 million for her additional surgeries and post-surgery care.
No amount is too small. Whether you can donate ā¦1,000, ā¦5,000, ā¦10,000, ā¦50,000, or more, your contribution can make a real difference in their lives.
please share this post with your friends, family, colleagues, churches, communities, and anyone who may be able to help.
They have already endured so much pain. Please, letās not allow lack of funds to stand between Joy and Ada and the medical treatment they desperately need.
Kindly support Joy and Ada. Donate, share, and help us reach the goal.

Chief Lamidi Ariyibi Adedibu was a dominant figure in Oyo State politics, known as a political kingmaker whose influence spanned multiple administrations and generations of politicians. His political career began in the early 1950s, and he later became a key player in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), playing an instrumental role in supporting candidates and forming political alliances in Oyo State.Ā
In an interview on BEN Television in the UK, Adedibu discussed his political influence and his contentious relationship with then-Governor Rashidi Ladoja, whom he had backed in the 2003 governorship election. Their relationship soured due to disagreements over political appointments, loyalty, and control within the state government. Adedibu emphasized that his political role focused on decision-making rather than day-to-day administration. He also noted President Olusegun Obasanjoās efforts to reconcile them, highlighting the severe political tensions at play.Ā
The conflict eventually escalated into a major political crisis, culminating in Ladojaās controversial impeachment on 12 January 2006, after which his deputy, Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala, assumed office. However, the Supreme Court later invalidated the impeachment, allowing Ladoja to return as governor in December 2006. Adedibu passed away on 11 June 2008 at the age of 80. His political career and his conflict with Ladoja remain significant chapters in Oyo Stateās history, particularly in discussions about political godfatherism and the dynamics between elected officials and influential political sponsors.
This is exactly what we need from the FRSC. They need to ensure that all drivers understand basic road signs, as some truck drivers still donāt have licenses.

Community Report: Boundary Dispute Between Ifo LG and Lagos State
The Ifo Local Government Area (LGA) in Ogun State has raised concerns over what it perceives as territorial encroachment by Lagos State. This issue arose after Lagos installed āWelcome to Lagos Stateā signposts along a newly constructed road in the Yakoyo area of Isheri-Ojodu Ward. The road was reportedly built under the administration of Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
In a public notice signed by Ifo LGA Chairman Hon. Idris Olalekan Kusimo, the council questioned the placement of the signposts, suggesting it casts doubt on the officially recognized boundary between Ogun and Lagos states. The council emphasized that the signposts should not be seen as establishing Lagosās jurisdiction over the area.
Ifo LGA has called for a transparent verification of the interstate boundary using official records, survey coordinates, and legal documents. The council urged Lagos State to halt any further actions it views as encroachment until the boundary issues are resolved through proper government channels.
The situation underscores the need for clearly defined administrative boundaries, especially in communities along the OgunāLagos border. As the dispute continues, residents and stakeholders await clarification and a peaceful resolution from the relevant authorities. The legal location of the boundary has not been independently confirmed, and Lagos Stateās response was not available at the time of this report.
