It was 2005, and I was in Class 5. Little did I know that the arrival of this guy would change Indian cricket forever. As a captain, he gave us the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 ODI World Cup, the 2013 Champions Trophy, and countless unforgettable memories. But more than the trophies, what always stood out to me was the attitude with which he represented India. He showed an entire generation that a boy from a small town could dream big and achieve everything there was to achieve.
