Very serious situation underway in Poland.
Poland's President, Karol Nawrocki, was seen on the ground at the Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw.
According to @MaciejBerek, he did not enter the building, and he physically attacked Anna Korwin-Piotrowska (named temporarily in charge of the TK) and another judge.
Significant standoff underway in Poland tonight.
A group of judges backed by PM Donald Tusk's pro-EU government moved to seize control of Poland's top court, suspending the Chief Justice and his Deputy, who are affiliated with the right-wing PiS party.
Several hours ago, the Trybunał Konstytucyjny account on X (@TK_GOV_PL) said that an "unlawful takeover" of the Constitutional Tribunal's website had occurred, and that the Chief Justice and Deputy remained.
Situation is still underway.
Judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska has been placed in temporary charge of the Constitutional Tribunal.
@TK_GOV_PL rejects this, and says all persons participating in these actions are participating in a coup d'etat.

US REPORTEDLY PREPARING SHORT, INTENSE IRAN STRIKES ON NOVEMBER 4
The Trump administration has reportedly warned Gulf allies to prepare for potential US strikes on Iran as early as November 4, one day after the midterm elections, according to MS NOW.
Gulf states are reportedly urging de-escalation, while the US continues reinforcing its military presence in the region.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the United States has warned Gulf Arab countries to prepare for a short, intense military campaign following the U.S. midterm elections.
The President has not yet decided but is leaning towards a large attack that could target Iranian infrastructure and nuclear sites, people familiar with the President's thinking said.

Per @Liz_Friden The U.S. is sending the USS Theodore Roosevelt carrier strike group and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Middle East, two U.S. officials confirm to Fox News. The ships will arrive in the Middle East by the end of November, the officials said. These new deployments will add about 10,000 Sailors and Marines to the Middle East.
The USS Roosevelt will be the third aircraft carrier in the Middle East, joining the USS George H.W. Bush which arrived to the region in April, and the USS George Washington which arrived in mid-August to replace the USS Abraham Lincoln. This will provide more options for the U.S. as President Trump is reportedly considering ramping up strikes on Iran after the Midterms.
The USS Roosevelt departed its home port of San Diego on Sunday and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit deployed from San Diego on Monday along with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group. The Marine Expeditionary Unit and Amphibious Ready Group typically include about 4,200 Marines and Sailors. The USS Roosevelt carrier strike group includes about 6,000 Sailors.

Man, the way I'm seeing some folks on the ground in/near Wainwright talk about what's happening really has me worried for what I'm going to hear on the news come tomorrow morning.
Several hours into the event at CFB Wainwright, very little, if anything, is known.
What's confirmed,
- "Serious incident" sparked a major fire at the base.
- Casualties including fatalities.
- Fire was at training area.
CBC says they spoke with a physician who works in the emergency department at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, which is roughly 112 miles from Wainwright, and they said the hospital was in Code Orange to help prepare for a large influx of patients.
