Awful news to tweet that our Referees Appointments officer & committee member Peter Elvidge lost his life yesterday. Pete was a great person who did so much to help our league he will be sorely missed.
Thoughts are with his family in this terrible time
RIP Peter Elvidge

I am really saddened to hear the news of referee Peter Elvidge passing away.
I had Peter as a ref many times but got to know him better when I served on the @SceptreLeague1 committee with him. A good guy and will be sorely missed. Thoughts go out to his family.
