In Oct I gained a small 0.5% so up 26% YTD. That's despite a choppy market and losing -2.5% on trading. It felt like there was a lot of profit taking on shares, making trades difficult. Stand out performer is #TBLD where I'm up 141% YTD on my original investment.

With Sept finished I am up 25.5% YTD 🐰🐢 - 4.8% gain this month. My trading 🐰 portfolio is up 27.5% since starting this summer. 🐢 (long positions) win % = 62.9% 🐰 (trades) win % = 53.8% (the trades I lost are generally small losses).

🐰+4% gain on #MGNS. Not a share I would want to carry on holding given FY27 estimates are for EPS to fall (pre share buyback anyway). Thanks to @W13Ken for flagging recent performance including titbits in the construction press.

Not a great update from #SOS (I don't hold). HY revenue up 11% but was at +24% at Q1. Perhaps reflects comparisons with M&S disrupted half but their own website sales are now flat vs +7% at Q1. A high p/e of 25 for a nondescript low growth clothing retailer *if* they hit forecast

That said, I can believe clothing retailers might have had a tricky few months with the slower start to colder weather probably reducing sales of higher margin winter products. So this could be worth revisiting if the share price drops significantly from the current level.

Sold both at -1.4%. #MKS didn't deliver the growth in food and home I was hoping for and #BMS was a bit of a punt on oil tankers but the global freight challenges only seem to be benefiting their competitors 🤷🏻‍♂️

Another new concurrent user peak on Probably Stolen today at 164k. Unusual to see an indie game get more and more users day after day. I hope @tinyBuild @aNichiporchik will issue a trading update soon to update on performance following Graveyard Keeper 2 & Probably Stolen.

Balatro was one of the biggest indiehits of 2024 and sold 1 million copies within the first month. Probably Stolen will reach 1 million in just a week, and sales/CCU are still incredibly strong. Should also be the perfect game for mobile/Switch whenever it arrives.

An example of how bad the London/South East housing market is right now. In Oct '22, a 2 bedroom flat where I lived in my SW London block sold for £405k. Turns out that was the peak. Same block, exact same size apartment just went on Rightmove for £325k yesterday.

This is why I'd avoid SE/London exposed housebuilders right now. Why buy a new build premium price flat when flats are devaluing fast and you can pick up a cheaper and still newish flat elsewhere?
