Common but incorrect wording: "The average family has..."
Correct wording: "On average, families have..."
The first wording implies that there is such a thing as an average family and tends to imply that families are relatively similar.
The reality is always a WIDE bell curve.

Canada Post is absolutely circling the drain. Even government agencies are increasing refusing to use the mail. Alberta corporate tax returns no longer ALLOWED to be mailed in. TD charging $5 for a monthly paper bank statement.
I suppose people who are convinced our currency will be rapidly debased should borrow as much as they possibly can and buy various real assets with borrowed money. Good luck blowing your brains out with debt. Maybe it will work out and maybe not. Kinda like Russian Roulette.
Consider the GDP created by the smart phone. Apple has made a LOT of money from iPhones. But THINK of all the other industries that benefit. Uber would not exist without smartphones. Numerous industries and experiences have been vastly altered by smart phones.
Alberta wind generation woes: On top of the low spot prices - 2.7 cents average last 30 days (albeit wind is MOSTLY contracted) and that the wind often does not blow, some wind turbines now can't run due lack of transmission capacity. Seems like a horrible business situation!
When did it become socially acceptable to talk loudly on a phone for long periods of time in public such as an airport boarding gate at 4am? 50 or more quiet people and one loud talker for the last half hour and counting.
Alberta Electricity Prices are LOW: My Bill for the month ended March 5 has the electricity commodity charge at 3.0 to 3.7 cents per kWh on my floating rate. YES, delivery and admin charges bring the all-in total with tax to 17.6 cents per kWh but the generation part is LOW.
Alberta natural gas is dirt cheap and yet gas production companies mostly manage to be profitable. The capitalist system is amazing. It appears that with natural gas there is no oligopoly. Commodity product lends to robust competition.
Population of Canada may have decreased in 2025. It did decrease based on preliminary estimates. Population may have increased slightly when final numbers come in. In any case population explosion we were experiencing for a few years is done.
