It's time to unveil one of my labors of ❤️! Astrid is my world. I want her to live forever, even in the hearts of those who never met her. Perhaps this book will inspire you to adopt a rescue pet. Perhaps you just like bones. Or dogs. Or both!

The @otatrauma Boot Camp was a success, we had a lively discussion among our speakers. Thank you Nashville for a great time and a fun meeting🥂
If you are at the @otatrauma Annual Meeting in Nashville, come register for the Boot Camp! simplebooklet.com/ota2026boo…
The hardest working @AAOS1 committee! (But of course I’m biased)❤️
A celeb sighting! Skeletoni made an appearance at our committee meeting to provide support for the OITE🦴💜@AAOS1
An excellent @AAOS1 OrthoInfo podcast for women who are approaching menopause or have a family member who is. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…
An excellent article for any surgeon or aspiring surgeon.
Surgery is a "wicked" environment: feedback is delayed, noisy, and often biased. My essay on why experience doesn't always equal mastery, and how to learn when the feedback loops are broken.

Excited to once again be faculty on the @AAOS1 Daily Dilemmas course! It’s gonna be a fun Saturday. I’m doing a pre-recorded talk on long vs short CMNs as well for this. Sign up — aaos.org/education/courses/2…
I don’t make any $ from this, but if I had a million I’d buy every female ortho resident& attending this. We have high breast cancer rates, mostly due to incomplete outer quadrant/axilla coverage. Get measured; may need bigger size to go over existing lead burmed.com/store/wearables/b…
A sampling of interesting posters from my perusal yesterday. I’ll try the plateau technique my next case. #OTA2025
Our reception at #OTA2025 was a blast with a great turnout and excellent food. This guy (appropriately named Little Bit) didn’t have a badge, but got in anyway. :) 🫏
Two RCTs from today’s sessions I enjoyed: tobramycin powder doesn’t improve infection rates when added to vanco and can make things worse (MTRC Tobra study); & immediate weightbearing of ankle fx at 2 wks is ok (syndesmosis excluded) (Dr Obremskey). Publications incoming #OTA2025
A busy morning here at #OTA2025. President Doug Lundy delivering opening remarks, a speaker ready room with a view, the opening of the Exhibit Hall (more to come on that!), and one of our committees hard at work on improving the future of our profession.
Good morning from Phoenix! Getting a machine at the gym is always tricky at ortho conferences— everyone is up and getting after it.💪🏻🏋🏻 #OTA2025
Dinner event selections are crucial for any OTA meeting attendee, and Phoenix does not disappoint. Enjoying bone marrow 🦴and a cocktail called “I love you, but I love me more” (a nod to Samantha, for my SATC ladies) at the Wren & Wolf. #OTA2025 🍹@otatrauma
Kicking off the @otatrauma #OTA2025 meeting with the lovely Sherrie and Valeria who are ready to welcome you to Phoenix! #ADITL
Calling all OTA members…. Join the discussion forum on Facebook! If the QR code doesn’t work, search for “Orthopaedic Trauma Association Member Discussion” in groups. #OTA2025
Very excited to partner with @otatrauma to show you the #OTA2025 Annual Meeting through my eyes. 👀 See you soon!
