Well, that was a blast. IntNSA ran a really nice workshop at #LxAddictions24 with a very international group of nurses and other health care professionals involving lots of nice discussion on IntNSA, MDT working & the developmemt of the role of nurses in addictions.

Great to do an AV presentation to members of the Oireachtas on the importance of developing nurse prescribing of OST. 14 years since the recommendation was made by @MichaelFarrellE little or no progress has been made. Thank you to @ThomasGouldSF for facilitating

Congratulations to K. Nicki Annunziata and Philip James - elected as our new chapter president and vice-president. Many thanks to former president John Flanagan and Vice-President Marion Mulvanney who kept US going through the very challenging period of the Covid-19 pandemic.

IntNSA will make a contribution to the citizens Assembly on Drugs and we were glad to meet with Paul Reid today, chair of the assembly, to talk about staffing/workforce, governance, oversight and why these are important to providing good services.
