Just made my first window in Python using Tkinter. And then my first clicking button. Although clicking it took me no where. It's a wonderful experience creating something that can perform a function.
I'm about looking into GUI in Python. Starting with Tkinter.
I was doubting I could get to this point.
Progress 👏
Want to start looking at C++
My larger picture is to build hardware and software things like for example, an electric vehicle and drones, etc.
The crazy hope of building a software company keeps me typing. It’s a wild dream for a random guy on X, but every big thing started as a small, crazy idea. What's your crazy idea?
The James Webb Space Telescope sees in infrared. This lets it peer through cosmic dust clouds that block visible light. It’s like taking off sunglasses in a dark room to see the hidden universe
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is absolutely nothing. Letting your brain idle is when it connects the dots in the background. Go for a walk without your phone.
The goal isn't to memorize every Python function. The goal is to learn how to think logically and how to read documentation. Syntax changes, but problem-solving is forever
Cleaning my desk, and reviewing my Python notes for the week. It’s not glamorous, but setting up the physical environment makes the mental work 10x easier, or so I was told
What’s your #1 productivity trap? Mine is "researching" the perfect tool instead of just doing the work. Notion, Obsidian, paper... they all work if you actually use them.
Hanlon’s Razor: "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity." Or in my case, just extreme distraction. It saves a lot of unnecessary anger in traffic.
Object-Oriented Programming is weird. I'm creating "Classes" that act like blueprints to spawn "Objects." It feels like playing god but with more syntax errors
The Goldilocks zone isn't just about temperature. It's the magical orbital sweet spot where a planet isn't too hot, too cold, or too irradiated. Earth won the cosmic lottery.
You don't build habits by focusing on the outcome. You build them by focusing on identity. Don't say "I want to write a book." Say "I am a writer who writes 500 words a day."
Learning to code + staring at space + random philosophical thoughts. If that mix of chaos sounds like your vibe, drop a like. Always looking for fellow curious minds on here.
