Adrián Mateos llegó a Las Vegas en octubre.
Temporada baja. Sin grandes festivales. Sin multitudes.
¿Por qué? Porque los buy-ins eran caros. Para el Presi, eso es razón suficiente.
Diez torneos. Buy-in medio de 17.000$.
Promesa cumplida.

These players have defied the odds to reach the final table of the greatest poker tournament in the world.
Each is guaranteed $1,000,000. For some, ninth place alone would exceed their entire lifetime earnings. That’s true for the current chip leader. At only 22 years old, he was down to 7,000 chips on Day 1, bagging second to last out of 759 players (758th of 759).
NOW, Lucas Jumalon has more chips than five of his final table opponents COMBINED, holding 35% of all the chips in play.
Can the kid complete the comeback and win $10,000,000?! Or will four-time bracelet winner Michael Gagliano chase him down?
Meet the Final 9 and follow every hand LIVE from Aug. 3–5 on ESPN and the WSOP YouTube channel in select territories. ⬇️

Poker is the only sport where anyone can compete against the best players in the world.
Not just compete… actually have a chance.
That’s what makes the Main Event so special. Anyone can make a life changing run.
Hope you’re enjoying the ESPN broadcast. It only gets better from here!!!

Last week, we announced the Dealer Rating System coming to WSOP Live.
Here’s the breakdown: we’re adding $100,000 in rewards for top rated dealers this summer.
For each bracelet event, the top rated dealers will earn:
1st: $500
2nd: $300
3rd: $200
That’s $1,000 per bracelet event across 100 bracelet events.
We heard the concern:
“What if one tilted player gives a bad rating after a bad beat?”
Ratings refresh for every event. Each bracelet event is a clean slate, and no unfair rating follows a dealer for the whole summer.
For dealers, this program is only upside: a fresh chance every event to be recognized and rewarded.
The goal is simple: reward the dealers who help make WSOP great.
