This is a classic example of a postgame press conference where a coach cherry-picks the data to work the officials for the next game.
Knicks coach Mike Brown's rant is great theater, but the math shows a game of two distinct halves rather than a one-sided officiating conspiracy.
In the first two quarters, the whistle actually favored New York as the Knicks took nearly twice as many free throws as the Spurs.
Perhaps the most telling reality check came from the Knicks' own players. Following this presser, both Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson publicly pushed back on Brown's narrative, with Towns flatly stating to the media that the referees "didn't cost us the game."
So when you see Knicks fans spreading this fake narrative point them to this tweet and the facts.

It’s always been crazy to me that some people are simply what their surroundings become.
They have no sense of self.
Who they are is simply dictated by who/what they are around.

So back to this play. This is clearly a shot attempt and a block. Jokic should of had a rebound here also.
The reason I say this is because, if Fox was hit on the arm on this play would it been called a shooting foul??
100% it would of been a shooting foul, so clearly it was a shot and a block. Watch again, if fox's arm would of been hit going up, ask yourself, would this have been a shooting foul? Comment below. The same play happened on the other end when Jokic tried a three and was blocked. They called it a block. moments after this play.

This one is WAY CLOSER to a Jokic rebound than the one I'm getting 1000 @'s about
You could 100% make the argument Hardway blocks this, and Jokic gets the rebound. Again though, not a true "stat error" as I can see the case for this being a steal
But in my opinion, Fox goes up for the shot and is blocked while attempting it. I'd lean block/rebound, but it is a true 50/50
Replying to @NBAStatAuditor
Hardaway on Fox at 2:29 in Q4 should be credited as a block and Jokic rebound though? It's essentially the definition of blocks they give to guards (CP3 being a main example)
