A little strategy BTS!
Sometimes I put together a video I really like and the social media algorithms shut me down. I had an idea for a Virtual Insanity homage (@JamiroquaiHQ !) and it got almost no views at all on IG and TikTok. I took down the one on TikTok to re-edit make the hook a bit better. I left it up on IG.
Late morning today it started going viral on Instagram! So rare to have that kind of delayed reaction. But maybe the tweaks I'm doing will help it do the same on TikTok. When I spend time editing something like this, I really do want people to see it widely.

Anybody remember this show? It was an incredible opportunity and my performance ended up being the most popular online by far. Only Tom Holland's adult Lip Sync Battle appearance (In the LSB universe!) has more views on YouTube and it's still the most popular non-animated video on Nick's channel.
My performance also had some crazy mishaps. The hoverboard was turned off, half my hand lasers did not work and were added back with vfx afterwards and more.
I really hoped it would get me on a scripted Nick show.
Cake Pop? I had a hard time editing this to look right. It's still a little funky. I should really try to do another one and improve the visuals. It's been a couple years! With my friend Gabby.
Horror Nights at Universal Orlando! I love haunted houses so much and Universal dominates.

My Brazilian friend Julia Barni visited LA last year. I'm such a fan of her and her content. Here's one of the videos we filmed together. Obviously on Hollywood Blvd!
Her track suit is awesome. My Vapor95 hoodie was the closest I could find that would match.

Who remembers the incredible and viral Grimace Shakes? I bought a squib kit to try and get a good chest explosion of the purple drink. It sort of worked. But it was a fun video to make! Delicious too.
I need to figure out something to do with it again. Maybe for Halloween?
My first plug frustration video (inspired me to make the USB one) was based on seeing quite a few videos of people wearing black arm sleeves and blocking people finding an outlet. I figured a VFX based version would be compelling. Several hundred million views later, I was right!
I can't think of another one that would resonate with viewers like this and the USB plug skit. Suggestions?

Urban Theory (Italy) are truly incredible artists. So happy to have collaborated with them on a couple of videos a few years ago. Here's one on the Universal Metro escalator during one of their US visits!
They really make the best choices for lighting, wardrobe and movements. This doesn't really capture it but you should definitely look at some of their fantastic work.

It's almost that time again! This is one of my favorite Spirit Halloween skits. A bit less silly but also integrates some fun effects along with my friend Gabby. And I actually show my face instead of wearing the Michael Myers mask.
Overall my Spirit skits have several billion views. I might be the most popular Halloween creator! @SpiritHalloween
Videos where I get destroyed in various ways (shatter, hit, crushed, etc) always do well. Brent Rivera was nice enough to help me with a skit where I really pushed the boundaries.
You can tell I didn't capture the audio correctly.
First hitting the ceiling, then the rail. Ouch.
The addition of somebody reacting makes content more relatable. Or even pretending there's somebody watching out of frame that I might react to during a dance or skit.
This isn't the best example but I did put my dog & dad to work.
You can always date the content based on the color of the hoodie and cut of my jeans.

I see the Intrepid director and actor Sean Cox is currently directing Spamalot at the Grove in Ontario, Canada.
When he ran Intrepid, he made the experience for me as a little kid doing multiple shows a week a joy.
