I’m happy to have brought the discussion of inherent contempt back to Congress. Even my colleagues across the aisle understand the gravity of this. You cannot ignore subpoenas from Congress and not be held accountable. I will be bringing this vote to the floor. I like so many Americans have lost faith in the DOJ. Congress has the authority to restore that faith.

🚨🚨 The CCP wants to control U.S. Agriculture and food production, and they’re trying to lobby our Congress to do so. Last week I, and several of my colleagues, sent a letter to the House Committee on Agriculture on the dangers of a bill called the EATS Act, warning them against including this legislation in the upcoming Farm Bill. Because they suspended the three-day rule, our constituents can’t know all that’s in this bill. But we know it spends too much money.
