The only thing that disappointed me about Leon’s awesomely over the top motorcycle battle in RE9 was that it didn’t end in a Akira bike slide. That would have been EPIC. 😆

Is anyone else having these issues with BO7? I keep getting loadouts that I did not select, and suddenly I can’t access Team Deathmatch anymore. 🤷🏽♂️

Man, Monster, Machine
“Enterprising, aggressive, outgoing, young, bold, vicious.”
“A survivor, unclouded by conscience, remorse, or delusions of morality."
“It can't be bargained with, it can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity! Or remorse or fear and it absolutely will not stop! ever... until you are dead!”
Perhaps the greatest title of a film ever..
Terror of Mechagodzilla (1975)
MechaGodzilla is menacing as ever. Titanosaurus had an interesting "villain against his will" arc that i liked for this time. A very strong end to the Showa era. Below was my favorite scene in the movie.

It’s amazing how simple it would have been for companies like Activision and Marvel to win back the fan loyalty that enriched them yet insisted on doing the things that cost them that loyalty. Is it self destructive ego or startling incompetence?
“Weapons” is like if David Fincher and Sam Raimi were chilling out smoking weed and watching “Roshomon” and one said to the other’ “Dude…lets like…make a movie together or somethin’”
Yes, it was that interesting, narratively throwing me off like no other flick since “Smilla’s sense of Snow.” 8/10

My review for “Fantastic Four First Steps”-
All the cringy rumors turned out to be untrue, and my trepidation about the cast, unwarrented. It was mindbogglling how much better the main four and the She-Surfer were than I had anticipated. Just like in The Last of Us, Pedro Pascal made me feel silly for being so annoyed by his casting. He is the definitive cinematic Reed right now. Then theres Galactus… never has a supervillain appeared as imposing.
The production value was top notch, perhaps my favorite in any comic movie, and the script engaging.
Buuuuut….what should have been in the argument for best comic film ever settled down to just being very good to borderline great at the end. The last battle especially was hugely disappointing as one character was nerfed way too much, and another amped to a degree that no threat under godly should seem viable going forward.
Still, engaging enough to just make it a 8/10.
