The reason Zanzibar is not exposed is because their citizens are not Nigerians. If that blue water was in Nigeria, Nigerians would have recorded the background and posted it numerous times to tarnish the image of the country, Ghana is still living off the 24hrs electricity hype btw with bad roads and tough lifestyle too.

Breaking: Court Orders Hope Uzodinma to stop parading himself as Imo West senatorial candidate *Orders INEC to publish Okorocha's name Justice Obiora Egwuatu of a Federal High Court in Abuja, has ordered the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma to immediately stop parading himself as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Imo West Senatorial election slated for January 16, 2027. Justice Egwuatu issued the order after holding that Uzodinma did not win the May 18 primary election conducted by the APC and monitored by INEC. The judge in his judgment held that evidence presented before the court proved that former Governor Rochas Okorocha won majority of the votes cast at the poll and should be published winner of the election. Egwuatu subsequently ordered the APC to forward Okorocha's name as candidate of the APC in the 2027 general elections for Imo West Senatorial election.

If Nigeria had at least 10% of the global PR that some of these countries have, no one would visit these places for a holiday. Unfortunately for Nigeria, its citizens are the biggest demarketers. 🤦 Road to Zanzibar be like the road to Ode Omi before the coastal road is constructed. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

My attention has just been drawn to a video circulating on some social media platforms, alleging that I gave an order denying a political party use of a private facility for their townhall event. This is preposterous and utter falsehood, because I did not. This is shameful and reveals a desperate pattern adopted by the opposition to attract attention. There’s no doubt that democracy guarantees freedom of expression. It should be noted, however, that it does not grant anyone the right to defamation. Democracy also offers avenues to seek redress. So, let it be known that there are red lines that should never be crossed.

BREAKING: 24 States Approve State Police Constitutional Amendment, Meeting Two-Thirds Threshold Approved states so far (24): Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Benue, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Imo, Kaduna, Kebbi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Taraba, Yobe, Zamfara Scheduled for Plenary (1)
Kano Committee Review (2)
Bauchi, Katsina Received (6)
Abia, Borno, Ebonyi, Kogi, Ondo, Sokoto No Public Update
Jigawa, Lagos, Niger What Happens Next 1. Complete the Constitutional Amendment
With 24 State Houses of Assembly having approved, the resolutions are sent back to the National Assembly. Once confirmed, the amendment proceeds for presidential assent. This creates the constitutional basis for State Police Services alongside a Federal Police Service. 2. Finalise and Pass the National Policing Bill
The draft National Policing Bill (and related consequential amendments) is currently under review by the Ministry of Justice. After validation and presidential consideration, it will go to the National Assembly for passage. This law sets the national standards, certification process, oversight, funding, and operational rules. 3. States Pass Their Own Laws
Each state that wants to operate a State Police Service must enact its own state law establishing it. 4. State Certification
No State Police Service can begin operations until the state is certified as meeting the national minimum standards. The process is phased: the constitutional change enables it, but certification is required before any actual policing starts. 5. Operational Launch
Once certified, the State Police Service can commence. Federal coordination, inspections, accountability mechanisms, and possible federal intervention remain in place.

I spoke with a Gen Z doctor today who graduated from LASUCOM. I told him that LASUCOM is one of the educational legacies of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Asiwaju established the Lagos State College of Medicine in 1999 and upgraded General Hospital Ikeja to a teaching hospital. He also ensured the College obtained all necessary accreditations by 2005. The college has produced over 1400 healthcare professionals, and it remains the number 1 state-owned college of medicine in Nigeria. Of course, he didn't know...
