Watched The Devils 1971 aw man. Why does it kinda suck. I find this sort of thing such a bore. Meretricious is the word. It was the complete antithesis of creative work I’d find value in - so much so that it made me laugh, at least through my irritation. Lovely colours though
I’m unsure of how to word my thoughts. It appears to me as a sequence of increasingly intense acts flagging ideas I find neither revelatory nor particularly personally interesting. All the while I’m subjected to the film delighting in its own audacity. It becomes embarrassing
Oh god. It’s the usual. I’m not attracted to him at all. He’s lovely but. He’s very reserved, so my energy just completely bulldozes his. It’s an energy massacre. I can’t find attraction in that. I need to be met head-on & challenged. The cycle is endless, remember. Remember that
God punishes me because I am afraid of the gift he gave me. I try to pursue everything but it. I run from it because I’m a coward. I grab it & run, because hoarding & taxidermying is easier than honing & nurturing - I couldn’t bear to see it fluctuate, losing it for even a second

Second date tomorrow. I haven’t accepted an invitation to a second date for like 3 years, because I’m mostly evil and full of sour bile. I remain curious but apprehensive. And also a little sad for some reason
