The notices to Das and Ranka were issued after their release from Tihar Jail.

I am surprised to see him speak the opposite of what the legal principle is. If the notification is under challenge and is not stayed by the court, the notification is valid and one has to abide by it. Only in case where it’s stayed, you can enjoy the freedom that the notification seeks to curtail.
It couldn’t be simpler than this.

Who Will Help This Mother and Her Puppies When No One Responds to Calls for Help?
A year ago, I contacted BMC and the Animal Husbandry Department through tweets, phone calls and WhatsApp, requesting sterilisation for this dog.
Nobody responded or came to help.
Now, she is due to give birth within a day or two. My neighbours are angry that I’m sheltering her. Had she given birth on the road, her puppies could have been killed by passing vehicles.
I already feed 6 street dogs and care for 3 dogs at home. I have been unable to work for the past 5 years due to cancer and have no income.
What am I supposed to do now? Where will I keep her puppies, and how will I feed them?
I don’t want more dogs on the streets either. I asked for help with sterilisation a year ago, but nobody responded.
Who will take responsibility, and where should this mother and her babies go?
