Godzilla remains the single film franchise with the biggest international impact that western critics and a lot of so called fans don't actually like or respect. None of them want to hear that simple truth, either. Their disdain is open in the 'silly ones' and their praise for the 'serious ones' is purely conditional on how it appeals to their pretentious opinions on cinema.

I don’t understand why people don’t get that we get to have a serious take on Godzilla and a fun take on Godzilla and both are valid and entertaining

Not enough conversation on how a 72 year old IP is thriving like this, and Star Wars is currently a mess

#GodzillaMinusZero is an intense spectacle that had me levitating in my seat for certain moments. The R rating really enhanced the brutality and despair our characters faced. I hope this interpretation of Godzilla never ends because im obsessed with what they’re doing🔥

just a friendly reminder that quite literally only three of doughegoji’s dorsals are a reference, and all the rest are either brand new shapes or unchanged from garegoji

Godzilla and Kong reach the surface but with the new theme I found that was cut from the film!
