If I had a pound for every time a MAGA account bellowed these mad MAGA myths me, I could fund European defence myself. 1. "Europe would be conquered in a week without America" Europe has 1.7 million troops, 515 nuclear warheads, five aircraft carriers and 1,400 combat jets. Russia couldn't take 20% of Ukraine in four years with a million soldiers. But sure, a week. 2. "Europeans live in no-go zones run by Sharia law" The "no-go zones" are normal neighbourhoods with kebab shops. The most dangerous thing about them is the parking. 3. "Europeans have no freedom of speech" Europeans can criticise their governments, protest in the streets and mock their leaders on live TV without getting tear-gassed or shot. In America, immigration agents check your social media, ICE arrests people for their opinions and deports them without trial. "Free speech", American style. 4. "Europeans pay 60% tax and get nothing for it" Europeans pay tax and get free healthcare, subsidised university, a year of paid parental leave, 5 weeks holiday and a pension they can actually live on. Americans pay tax and get aircraft carriers. 5. "Europe has open borders and anyone can walk in" The EU's border agency Frontex has 10,000 guards and some of the strictest visa requirements on earth. The difference is Europe doesn't cage children on camera to win votes 6. "Europe would be speaking German without America" The British Empire fought Germany for over two years before America joined. The Soviet Union lost 8.7 million soldiers fighting Hitler. The French Resistance ran the intelligence network that made D-Day possible. America showed up in Dec 1941. The war started in 1939. Every single one of these is repeated daily by people who've never owned a passport and likely never will.

8 lines every flag-shagging plastic “patriot” has in their playbook 1.“I want my country back” - From what? You voted for the party that ran it for 14 years. 2.“Our grandads didn’t fight for this” - Your grandads would be ashamed that you can’t find Normandy on a map. They fought with Poles, Sikhs, Gurkhas, and West Indians beside them. They’d have more in common with the immigrants you hate than plastic patriots sharing memes about them. 3.“This isn’t the Britain I grew up in” - Correct. It has lower crime, longer life expectancy, and better healthcare than the 1970s you’re romanticising. You just don’t remember the power cuts and three-day weeks. 4.“Britain is broken” - The most unpatriotic sentence in the English language, repeated daily by people say they love their country. 5. “We’re full” - The Netherlands has twice the population density and somehow manages. The UK is not full. It’s just had 14 years of no housebuilding and you need someone darker than you to blame for it. 6.“We look after our own first” - You vote for parties that cut disability benefits, froze nurses’ pay, gave tax breaks to the rich and closed Sure Start centres. You don’t look after anyone. 7.“Stop the boats” - The Tories spent £700 million on Rwanda to deport four people. Zero boats were stopped. You cheered anyway. 8.“Starmer is a traitor” - The man prosecuted terrorists, paedophile rings, and war criminals as DPP. You import American culture war propaganda from people who openly despise our allies, trash your own country 24/7, and follow convicted fraudsters who lied about where they were born. The only ones treacherously trashing Britain’s reputation daily are you.

MAGA calls Europe freeloaders. Here’s what they’re not telling you. 1. Ramstein Air Base, the most important US military hub outside America, is built on German land provided rent-free, with Germany contributing hundreds of millions to its upkeep. The US couldn’t replace it anywhere in the world. 2. Every US military operation in the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia flows through Ramstein. Lose it and US power projection in the Eastern Hemisphere is crippled. 3. The UK provides and maintains RAF Lakenheath used almost entirely by the US Air Force. Italy provides Aviano. Greece provides Souda Bay. Turkey provides Incirlik. European land. European infrastructure. American operations. 4. The US Sixth Fleet depends entirely on European ports for fuel and supplies. Souda Bay, Naples, 11 Greek ports. Without them the Sixth Fleet cannot operate in the Mediterranean or project power into the Middle East. 5. The majority of NATO’s intelligence and surveillance capacity is hosted on European soil and fed directly to the CIA, NSA and Pentagon. 6. Early warning radar at Fylingdales, UK. Missile tracking in Greenland. Norwegian monitoring stations near Russia. All dependent on European goodwill. 7. It would cost America MORE to bring the troops home than keep them here. European hosts subsidise roughly a third of all basing costs. 8. Europe is America’s largest arms customer. Stop buying American and part of their defence industry goes bankrupt. 9. The bases aren’t charity. They’re America using European soil, European money and European goodwill to project power across the world. 10. We’re not the freeloaders.

Members of Iran’s Jewish community standing in the rubble of their synagogue in Tehran. Bombed by Israel. On Passover. Iran is home to the largest Jewish population in the Middle East outside of Israel. They have lived there for 2,700 years. This is who Israel bombed on the holiest night of the Jewish calendar.

Replying to @RobertJenrick
It's a gullibility test - which Reform UK fans are badly failing. Here’s a breakdown of the claims in Jenrick's video message. 1. “Rachel Reeves is the MP for Leeds” Partly true, but imprecise Rachel Reeves is the MP for Leeds West and Pudsey (formerly Leeds West). So yes, she represents a Leeds constituency, but not “all of Leeds.” 2. “1 in 4 people aren’t working in Leeds” Misleading This figure likely refers to economic inactivity, not unemployment. “Not working” can include: Students Retirees Carers People with long-term illness Actual unemployment rates are much lower (typically a few percent, not 25%). 👉 So this claim inflates the problem by conflating different statistics. 3. “She’s in charge of the economy” Broadly true (with context) As Chancellor of the Exchequer, Reeves is responsible for UK economic policy. However, economic outcomes depend on many factors (global economy, Bank of England, previous policy, etc.). 4. Claims about “Arshad Khatana” Highly uncertain / needs strong evidence. There is no widely reported, verified public record (from major UK news outlets) confirming: That Arshad Khatana has the views listed That he has a close personal relationship with Reeves That she has sought his advice on foreign policy These are serious allegations and would normally be covered by reputable media if substantiated. 5. “She’s friends with him / visits his house / asks advice” Unverified Politicians often meet community figures, faith leaders, and constituents. That does not automatically imply endorsement of their views. Without credible sources, this is speculative framing. 6. Allegations about extremist views (terrorism, antisemitism, etc.) are unverified and potentially defamatory. The message lists very serious claims: Supporting terrorists Antisemitic statements Conspiracy theories These require strong, verifiable evidence from reliable reporting. In the absence of that, treat as unproven claims or political attack messaging. 7. “Unemployment she’s caused / taxes she’s raised” Opinion presented as fact. Economic performance: Influenced by multiple governments and global trends Tax decisions: Some taxes may have risen, but this is policy debate, not objective wrongdoing This is political opinion, not a factual claim. Overall Assessment What’s accurate: Reeves is a Leeds-area MP She is Chancellor What’s misleading: “1 in 4 aren’t working” (confuses inactivity with unemployment) What’s unverified / likely political attack: Claims about Arshad Khatana’s views Claims about Reeves’ relationship with him Claims she is influenced by him Jenrick's message mixes: A small amount of truth Misused statistics Unverified and potentially defamatory claims Strong political framing It should not be taken at face value without credible sources. Jenrick's video is misleading and irresponsible because it blends a small amount of truth with distortion and unverified allegations. It cites that “1 in 4 people in Leeds aren’t working,” but this refers to economic inactivity—not unemployment—giving a false impression of widespread joblessness. It then makes serious claims about an individual’s extremist views and an alleged relationship with Rachel Reeves without credible evidence from established news sources. The video further implies guilt by association, suggesting Reeves endorses these alleged views simply through contact, which is not substantiated. By presenting political opinion as fact and relying on emotive, sensationalist language rather than verified information, it risks misleading voters and lowering the standard of public debate.

🚨🇺🇸 'Tommy Robinson' is bullshitting his way through MAGAworld with a statistical avalanche of rapid-fire numbers about Muslims, migrants, r*pe, terrorism, and 'free speech', knowing most listeners won’t pause to check definitions, datasets, or denominators. The pattern is consistent: 🔺Swap categories mid-sentence (Muslim / migrant / foreign national / Syrian) 🔺Inflate small subsets into national totals 🔺Use convictions as 'all crime.' 🔺Present opinion or prediction as established fact 🔺Cite numbers without source, year, or methodology Here are 10 of the most egregious statistical misrepresentations from this appearance: 1) “90% of the grooming gangs are Muslim men.” ❌ There is no credible national dataset supporting 90%. Government reviews repeatedly warn that ethnicity/religion data is incomplete and misused. The figure is not evidenced. 2) “30% of the men r*ping children are called Muhammad.” ❌ No official dataset supports this. This appears invented unless a source and methodology are provided. 3) “77% of r*pes in Paris were by Muslim migrants.” ❌ The underlying claim refers to 77% of suspects in a small number of solved ‘street r*pes’ in Paris (30 cases) being foreign nationals - not Muslim, not migrants, and not all rapes. 4) “R*pes in Germany went up 45% (2017–2022) because Merkel let in a million migrants.” ❌ This asserts a precise percentage increase and a direct causal link without evidence. Crime trend changes cannot be attributed to migration without controlled statistical analysis - which he does not provide. 5) “11% of r*pes were by Syrian nationals.” ❌ No verified national German dataset supports this as presented. Likely a cherry-picked subset being framed as a national headline. 6) “Sweden: 10% of the population commit 63% of r*pes.” ❌ Sweden’s foreign-born population is ±21%, not 10%. The '63%' figure refers to convictions involving people with 'immigrant background,' not '63% of all rapes.' Definitions are being swapped. 7) “40,000 British Muslims are on a terror watch list.” ❌ The ±43,000 figure often cited refers to total subjects of interest over time - not 'British Muslims.' It is not a list of 40,000 Muslim terrorists. 8) “Four times as many British Muslims joined ISIS than have ever joined the British military.” ❌ Around 850–900 individuals left the UK to join ISIS. British Armed Forces recruitment over decades is in the hundreds of thousands. The claim is numerically impossible. 9) “Luton is 50% Pakistani Muslim.” ❌ Census 2021: Luton is ±32% Muslim and ±30% Pakistani ethnicity. Those categories are being merged and inflated. 10) “12,000 people were arrested last year for social media posts.” ❌ There is no verified figure showing 12,000 arrests for 'posting opinions' or 'patriotic memes.' Arrests under UK communications laws typically relate to specific criminal offences - such as: • Threats to kill • Harassment or stalking • Incitement to violence • Malicious communications • Revenge porn • Racially or religiously aggravated abuse

Two weeks ago today my 23-year-old son was killed when a railing failed at his apartment block. Two days later I was in London, writing to the Prime Minister. I was also contacted by Sorcha Eastwood MP who had seen what happened to our family and wanted to help and today I received a letter from Sir Keir Starmer MP KC - Prime Minister Josh’s MP for Holborn and St.Pancras. In your darkest hour, you learn who acts, not just who speaks. I will always judge people by how they treat you when you are broken. Today, I am grateful for the action, support and the willingness to help us get answers. Thank you @Keir_Starmer this means a lot. @labourpress @UKLabour @SorchaEastwood #JusticeForJosh #NoMoreFalls – at Claudy, Northern Ireland
