“It’s … a literary triumph. Every line dazzled and struck me as poetry … The care and intention with which the work has been crafted is perceivable at every level.”

'No Country for Old Men' (2007) is a perfect film. As perfect as a film can be, at least. Despite a modest budget, tight 2hr runtime, and no score it feels heavy, expansive, and complete. I've read more about NCFOM than any other film, here are some things I found interesting:

I really love and appreciate the Saturday Paper but calling out Taylor Swift for avoiding important political discussions while the paper has barely managed to spew out a few tweets about **ethnic fucking cleansing** in Gaza is just **insanely** tone-deaf and hypocritical

A new study suggests Long Covid could be a brain injury.
It reminds us that C19 is a dangerous virus, which continues to kill and disable.

Trump just won the New Hampshire primary, easily. As Biden just said, capital D Democracy is at stake, and the risks just keep getting bigger. What does that mean for our very best friend in the world?
"We have the US as our great protector because we share these fundamental values.
"That doesn't continue under a second Trump administration that is openly attacking the institutions of American democracy.
"Where would that leave our shared values?"
