I'm watching an auction and up comes Monkey Island...I've loved this record for decades...Never know what prompts a spin right?...Now playing...
Anyone out there watched Netflix's The Playlist?...I know it's 4 years old now, but it's essentially the story of Spotify...I've never had occasion to subscribe, but I can see how a non collecting music lover would love it...I am fascinated...Just stumbled on it...
Another one I've been meaning to A/B for weeks on end...The cover is a definite upgrade...We'll see if the vinyl is cleaner than my old copy 70's copy...If the Holland-Dozier-Holland penned (I'm a) Roadrunner shines as usual I'll have my answer soon enough...Now playing...
Love early Black Keys...I remember standing in line at to check out at Newbury Comics in Boston (post Amiee Mann) and grabbing this from the spinning CD rack they used back in the day to attract impulse buyers...I read the hype sticker and brought it home...Never regretted it...
James is a great band and you can have Laid...It'll be awhile before I replace all my CDs on vinyl, but I feel pretty good with Seven & Laid tucked away...Sometimes (Lester Piggott) and Say Something are the gems here...Now playing...
Happiness is, the virgin play of an all timer...I swore, 2 weeks ago, that I'd lay off the power weeks at Collect.Co...Then this crossed my field of vision sealed for $29...Couldn't buy it fast enough...I'm shut off this month...My summer tab was freaking obscene...
There have been some hella bad LP titles over the years, but I forgive you Liz...After all, I'm a sucker for your lucky pretty eyes...Now playing...

I always had great admiration for Jerry Koosman. Outpitched Mike Cuellar in game 2 of the 69 series. Not easy to do.. 2-1 victory. 220 wins, 140 complete games, 33 shutout , 20 wins twice. Great career and such a class person.. RIP
Another record I had a damn good copy of, but I saw nobody bidding on a mint copy at an online auction maybe 2 weeks ago so I bought it...A/B time...The Furs just never get old for me...Now playing...
Johnny Boy's always proppin' up the bar, He sees life crystalized through his jar, Says he only lives for beer, but deep in his heart is a cry of fear...Give me a Heart To Hang Onto...
One of my all time favs was just sitting there in EX condition for $15 in an online auction last Sunday...Felt like it needed a home...Now playing...
I've own this record since the 70's... Just tried to upgrade on the cheap...We'll know soon...Now playing...
Well just plug me in just like I was Eddie Harris, You're eating crazy cheese like you would think I'm from Paris...That's how you wind up with a Jazz record in your collection right there...Now playing...
