Abdul El-Sayed: “The worst of the Big Ugly Bill hasn’t even hit yet. They knew it would be so disastrous to working people that they didn’t actually make it take effect until after the midterms. In January, Medicaid cuts, ACA subsidy cuts, all of that is gonna get worse. It’s about to be a nuclear bomb that goes off on our healthcare system”

I went to one of these 14 years ago. Saw this cute dog but we already had 3 dogs so I left. At the end of the day I went back and saw them putting her back in the crate to return to the shelter. The only one. So here’s Dixie! 15 years old now.

The smile lines are arcs caused by an effect known as gravitational lensing, where massive structures warp spacetime with their powerful gravitational forces and act as a cosmic lens.

Monet painted The Magpie at 28.
Young, penniless, and unknown, he stood outdoors for hours in sub-zero temperatures.
The Paris Salon rejected it as a failure.
Today, it hangs in the Musée d’Orsay as a masterpiece.
