B3 Labs wants to turn NVIDIA GPUs into an income producing asset that almost anyone can own.
The company’s platform, B3IQ, helps individuals, startups and smaller AI labs buy commercial grade NVIDIA systems such as the H200 or B300. These machines can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and are difficult to purchase, install and operate without relationships with suppliers and datacenter operators. B3IQ handles that entire process. Customers can pay as little as 30% upfront, while @b3labs procures the machine, assembles it and operates it inside its 27,000 square foot Oregon facility. The customer owns the hardware over time without needing to build a data center or manage the cooling, power and networking. Owners can use the GPUs for their own private AI workloads whenever they need them. When the machines are sitting idle, B3IQ can rent that computing capacity to AI labs, universities and researchers, then use the income to help pay down the remaining cost of the hardware.
The easiest way to understand B3IQ is as an Airbnb for GPUs. B3 Labs manages the property and finds the renters, but the customer ultimately owns the underlying asset. Many people believe GPUs are valuable revenue generating assets, but they cannot buy an H200 or B300 directly, and even if they could, they would have nowhere to install or operate it. B3IQ removes those barriers by combining GPU procurement, financing, hosting and customer demand in one platform. The model also gives smaller AI companies an alternative to constantly renting compute from AWS, Microsoft or specialized GPU clouds. If a team expects to run AI workloads for years, owning the machine could create more predictable costs, greater control over sensitive data and an asset that can earn money when it is not being used.

AI tokens ripping in september
$B3 is cooking next to them as a neocloud with shared ownership
+74% on the month 🔥
September belonged to crypto x artificial intelligence (AI):
$NEAR up 183%
$VVV up 70%
$WLD up 47%
$TAO up 37%
Grayscale's Artificial Intelligence Crypto Sector returned 54% for the month, versus 24% for the broader crypto market. The move may reflect growing interest in blockchain as potential infrastructure for AI.

AI tokens took September, but I didn’t expect the gaming corner to answer like this.
$B3 ripped just over 40% in the final week and closed the month with a clean parabolic.
Onchain gaming picking up momentum is the part I actually wanted to see 👀

Interesting focus on compute infrastructure not just another AI wrapper base:0xb3b32f9f8827d4634fe7d973fa1034ec9fddb3b3 looks promising.

Crypto doesn’t need another AI agent.
The bigger opportunity is owning the infrastructure AI runs on.
That’s why I’m watching $B3 and B3IQ building around the compute layer instead of another AI wrapper.
GPU ownership. Compute demand. Onchain markets.
This is where AI x crypto gets interesting.
Before getting excited about $B3, I want to know how B3IQ gets the machines
In this clip, they explain how large buyers can order 1,000 GPU nodes and end up needing 700
That leaves supply for smaller orders, and B3IQ is asking for batches of 10
They pay upfront and already have relationships with suppliers, which helps those orders get filled

Viktoriya Hying, co-founder of B3 Labs, says most people who want to own AI compute have exactly one option right now: buy $NVDA and wait.
She says B3's customers believe three things:
1. An Nvidia GPU is a revenue-generating asset
2. They have no way to buy a commercial-grade one, like an H200 or a B300
3. Even if they got one, they wouldn't know where to run it, how to assemble it or how to switch it on so AI labs can use it
That leaves a big group of crypto investors, small AI labs, researchers and builders who want to own the machines and can't get their hands on them.
"Their only outlet right now is just buying the stock and like patiently sitting and waiting."
B3 Labs was founded in 2024 by Coinbase alumni and has raised more than $21 million from investors including Pantera Capital and Coinbase Ventures.
In August it launched B3IQ, which sells dedicated Nvidia GPU servers on a rent-to-own plan:
- 30% down, with the rest paid off over five years
- An H200 rig starts at $54,516
- Machines are assembled in the US and hosted at a 27,000 square foot facility in Oregon
- When the owner isn't using it, idle capacity gets rented out on B3's network, and that income either pays down the balance or comes back as cash
By B3's numbers, renting an eight-GPU H200 node for two years costs about the same as buying one outright.

The real technical challenge behind the Airbnb of compute model isn't hardware, it's the machine turnover software.
When your machine switches tenants, every piece of your active work has to be saved, the machine wiped clean so the new user sees nothing, then your work restored when they're done.
"We started in a place where it was days between the switches. We then got it to a day. We then got it to hours. We then got it to an hour and celebrated big time. And now we're in the single digit minutes."
That's the actual moat.

The long-term vision for B3 IQ isn't just their Oregon data center. It's the software becoming the infrastructure layer for ALL compute, everywhere.
The plan: Get machine data verified onchain so anyone with a GPU anywhere in the world can plug into the marketplace. Your machine in Iceland, cryptographically verified, instantly matchable with paying AI labs.
Blockchain as the trust layer for physical compute.

The most telling sign that B3 IQ has product-market fit? Their payment processor shut them down.
"We take like 50 calls a day and no one ever says no. No one's ever like 'this just isn't for me.' All of it is like, where do I send the money? Can I send it right now?"
They were "processing too much payments" and went viral on X for it.
When demand is so strong your bank flags you, you might be onto something.

"Demand for compute is outpacing supply across every generation"
H200 rental rates have climbed back to where they stood at launch, even as Blackwell-generation B200s and B300s come online at scale.
This is a clear signal that demand for compute is outpacing supply across every generation, and that prior-generation hardware is holding its value far better than most depreciation models assumed.
For anyone buying, selling, or financing GPUs, it's a reminder that compute pricing is less about the chip on the spec sheet and more about who has capacity available when it's needed.
