Midnight network pitched as some panacea of privacy and an instant winner. Even assuming flawless execution I don't see it. Glad I've been selling Cardano for Monero heavily for more than a year. Should have done it all at once back then. But ignorant hope held me back
Replying to @IOHK_Charles
I don't get your pitch. ETH βconnectedβ to Midnight via Sig Network isnβt privacy. It's a new MPC vault with similar bridge risks.

Solano hack now... All defi at risk in this age of AI assisted hacking. The only safe place is not using defi me thinks. I reduced exposure but probably not enough. Lost money on Cardano hacks already. Best to be out of the fray
What if he just listened and parked that $90M in $XMR instead of getting cute with $ZEC? π΄ββ οΈπ΄ββ οΈ
Heβd be sipping something cold in the Bahamas right now instead of getting chain-analyzed into a federal case.
Jail time for the idiot who thought Zcach privacy was good enough. π€‘π
To the person who took about $90M from Ledger users:
put it into $XMR, or I hope you rot in jail.
Just looking at my investment in what was a machine learning hedge fund. 2019 initial investment has gone up pretty consistently for 7 years. 34% annual return. Not so bad
I have an LLM agent executing a crypto tax plan for myself. Going I ti each blockchain and figuring out transactions. Helps that I could guide it well on tax treatment, but goodbye accountant jobs.

RE: AI: IT WOULD BEHOOVE YOU TO STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND READ THIS:
1. It is a disturbing sign of the times when a company that claims its product may trigger human extinction gets to raise many billions of dollars of capital from bag-holding retail investors at what may be a trillion-dollar-plus valuation that only wealthy elite VC investors get to profit from. This may represent the clearest signal yet that corporate profits are the god of our society.
2. The "US vs. China AI race" is little more than a marketing campaign designed to tickle your amygdalae and scare you, via grave "national security" warnings, into allocating as much of your or your clients' life savings as possible to those who stand to gain the most power and/or profits from the AI capex bubble. @DavidSacksβChair of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technologyβconfirmed as much in a recent @theallinpod episode:
βSpeaking of the Dark Ages, so this is an interesting point from history. If you go back to the medieval time period, Chinese civilization was much more advanced than European civilization, and somewhere along the line it basically switched and the West basically took the lead. And some historians have pinpointed this to the decision of a single Chinese emperor to ban shipbuilding. What that allowed is the Europeans then basically colonized the whole world, and all the riches that flowed from that flowed back to Europe. And that's how Europe took the lead. And I think that if we were to do the Bernie Sanders thing, which is basically ban AI, it's like banning shipbuilding. Chinese civilization will rocket past us. They will be the ones that make all the discoveries and discover this new world and accrue all the wealth.β
3. If Iβm wrong on #2, then I wonβt be wrong on this: Your baseline assumption as an investor should be that China wins the "AI race." In our data-driven view, the odds of this potentially geopolitically destabilizing outcome are far greater than the odds of the US winning the "race"βhowever manufactured or real it may be.
Reminder: China's AI development has a structural advantage relative to US AI development when analyzed through the lens of STEM expertise. China's AI development also has a structural advantage relative to US AI development when analyzed through the dual lens of the cost of capital and the cost of tokens. China's AI development also has a structural advantage relative to US AI development when analyzed through the lens of energy. China's AI development also has a structural advantage relative to US AI development when analyzed through the lens of politicsβwhich appears increasingly likely to slow the pace of US AI innovation and adoption. Additionally, China currently DOMINATES global critical minerals supply, at ~60% of mined production and ~90% of refined production. This is a trump card (pun intended) that China could use to effectively shut down a US military whose arsenal is being depleted via its latest round of "forever wars" in Ukraine and Iran.

I apologize in advance if any of this MATH or data-driven dot connecting offends the legacy NARRATIVES that you relied upon to underwrite the positions in your portfolio. My job is not to make you feel good. My job is to keep you and your family on the right side of market risk. Period.
Have a great day!

WHAT MORON REGULATOR OR CORRUPT REGULATORY AUTHORITY WOULD ALLOW THIS COMPANY TO IPO??

The cypherpunk dream wasn't:
βMaybe one day BlackRock will package this into a financial product.β
Or
"I hope Daddy Government regulates us harder."

It was to render these parasite middlemen irrelevant.
Peer-to-peer money.
Strong cryptography.
Individual sovereignty.
Make crypto cypherpunk again.
Lol. Layerzero just failed a security audit and dropped by Wyoming stable coin commission. Cardano is really good at one thing. Burning through what was a world-class Treasury.
Markets move in cycles. Building doesn't stop.
The largest interoperability deployment in Cardano's history is underway. LayerZero connects Cardano to the broader crypto economy, bringing over 800 tokens and every major chain into one unified network.
It rolls out in phases: testnet, mainnet, Stargate, and developer tooling, culminating in one simple truth: by end of year, any asset deploys on Cardano.
The barriers are coming down, more soon.

Would think a list of all these Cardano DeFi exploits could be made, including who audited them beforehand.
That business model has had close to zero revenue for years, and most are using AI in some form to bust the code they used to βproveβ or βverifyβ was safe, or find errors they did not catch before. And alerting about the issue wouldnβt be as profitable as just exploiting it at this point. Plausible deniability. Zero accountability.
More than likely, they would be the ones best equipped to hack a chainβs DeFi. They may need to for lack of revenue, then try to fix anything they find while reviewing the code..
Cardano is the worst blockchain.
There was an EXPLOIT of a Spalsh pool that supported OADA .
The impact was isolated to OADA & ADA in the pool.
Those funds are now in the hands of a hacker.
They cleaned out all venues of liquidity that paired OADA with various tokens, which seems the only collateral damage.
If you are providing any liquidity for OADA or O it should be immedieelty removed. Swapping OADA into ADA is currently not possible due to the pool exploit. The protocol is currently paused and any and all liquidity is removed. There is currently no OADA liquidity. A large amount of OADA is in the hands of the hacker and you should not provide any liquidity for OADA by any means. MORE INFO SOON
SUI currently has roughly:
~8Γ ADA's TVL
~7Γ its stablecoin supply
~25Γ its DEX volume
far higher transaction count
similar centralized-exchange trading volume
multiple live U.S. ETFs
growing institutional tokenization infrastructure...I don't love SUI but ADA is looking pathetic
