Since Mark Golding became Leader of the Opposition, Jamaica has been dragged through the mud, both at home and on the international stage. The level of political division and negativity is deeply concerning for our country's reputation and progress.

I agree, the govt should publish the names of everyone who has received grants and benefits. Too many people accept assistance and then turn around and lie they received nothing. If people are going to spread misinformation about the govt doing nothing, let the facts speak for themselves. Unfortunately, knowing how soft-hearted our PM is,
I doubt he would go that far.🫠

The government not communicating with the wider public, if it takes publishing the names and amount the each person in all the areas received, then do it, it's tax payers money so publishing the names and amount they received is quite appropriate.

Our entertainers have global recognition that translates into credibility but they often don’t paint the full picture. Govt doesn’t have that luxury so we have to respond.
Until I provided video evidence, Buju Banton had the world believing he sent a plane full of goods that the Customs officers stole items from.
Only after persons saw video footage, they accepted that the Govt and Civil servants were being maligned. The posts were then removed and apologies tendered.
Lest We Forget.

There is too much reward for misinformation and disinformation. Everyone is eager to cash in.

The doctors who went back to work at public health spaces are Govt too. This is literally incapable of being correct since if you are paid by the Government, you are a part of Govt.
We are too entitled!
READ: Civil servants to protest at Finance Ministry as Government ends GETS bus service
Civil servants are to protest outside the Ministry of Finance on Monday over the Government's decision to end the transportation service for public sector workers.
The Jamaica Civil Service Association, JCSA, says the Government Employees Transportation Service, GETS, will be terminated on Saturday, October 31.
According to the JCSA, the Finance Ministry advised in May that GETS would be phased out and that the Jamaica Urban Transit Company would take over the service during a six-month transition.
But the JCSA says no confirmed arrangement has been presented to show how workers will get to and from work once GETS ends.

If we are being honest, the PNP could not run Jamaica at the moment. As much as we cuss the JLP and rightfully so, the PNP would be 100 times worse….they can’t even run their own party.

People are worried about the wrong things. We send farmer workers overseas to other people’s peaceful country; they bring their poor dispute resolution skills and murderous violence to those tranquil communities. Worry about those violent exports! TCNs aren’t violence producers.

There are people who do not like the reduction in murders.
BLOODY DAY.
FIVE (5) murders were recorded across Jamaica on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 when compared to seven (7) recorded during the entire week of October 18–24.
The murders yesterday were committed in 5 separate police divisions.

Said it before and will say it again - Mark Myrie, aka Buju Banton should have been, at a minimum, questioned by the Jamaican police after he took to social media to claim that he had goods stolen at airport after Hurricane Melissa. He should have faced charges for criminal mischief and should be facing civil lawsuits from airport workers, customs agents. We have too much impunity in Jamaica.
By the way both Buju and Beenie are political actors. They are PNP supporters that are using their fan base to undermine the current JLP administration. They are partisan actors!
