🧠 My hot #CROI2024 takeaway so far is that the brain will be our biggest hurdle for HIV cure because we’re struggling to get past the blood-brain barrier to CNS reservoirs and once we do, neurocognitive side effects are likely to severely limit rollout in an aging population

Given a cluster of 17 in France and now 7 new MPOX cases in Chicago, the girlies need to 1) get FULLY vaccinated (two shots for the girlies please!!!) AND 2) watch for symptoms even IF fully vaccinated. In France, 5/17 cases were FULLY vaccinated. chicago.suntimes.com/news/20…
