It’s been a year since I joined the politics team at BBC Westminster (Millbank) so I’ve looked through the hard drives and created a bit of a mashup.
It's my celebration of working with brilliant, generous and supportive people throughout an incredibly shite period.
All BBC.
Some absolutely great pics of colleagues in here from @StefanRousseau
During the six weeks since the General Election was called, I tried to show how my colleagues in the media covered the campaign. Pictures here 👇

A real adventure in Kyiv last week. Planes, trains, automobiles & some of the hardest hours I’ve ever worked. Excellent company with the likes of @StefanRousseau however, who makes sure I appreciate even the toughest graft with his terrible jokes.
This was shot by my very talented friend @JackFSlater during our recent 36 hr trip to Ukraine with Prime minister @RishiSunak It perfectly captures the mood and atmosphere. Sound on!
Good ole FCP voice isolation. Thank you very much.

1/ I never thought I'd say it, but covering the three By Elections has been a lot of fun.
We were commissioned to make a film from each constituency & a piece for results day.

3/ We felt the only way to inject the desired energy was through the style in which they were shot/edited. Quick cuts and movement were the order of the day so prods @AliceEThompson, @PaulTwinn & I decided that a treated top, dynamic PTC's and a nod to transitions would answer.
4/ Shot and edited over four days, I tried to achieve aesthetic continuity across the three constituencies while Chris & my two wonderful producers did the heavy lifting editorially.
