This is the reality of the broader crypto market.
Most tell you to just "buy-and-hold".
Here's why that's wrong (and what actually works instead):
We have a doomsday vault in the Arctic with almost every plant seed on the planet, so that we can regrow them in case a plant goes extinct.
Now the same exists for your cells.
In partnership with Vinod Khosla (@vkhosla), I’m proud to introduce Reservoir.
Billionaires have owned their cells for years. Starting today, you can too.

I’m telling you right now if Revolut is able to offer mobile plans world wide with their app for a good price, it’s game over for many banks.
This generation loves having simplicity and everything in one place.
JUST IN: Revolut officially launched Revolut Mobile in Germany today—a fully local mobile tariff.
€14.99/month (monthly cancellable):
120 GB full speed, then unlimited at 2 Mbit/s
Unlimited calls & SMS in Germany
40 GB EU roaming
Telefónica Deutschland network (up to 100 Mbit/s)
Fully managed in the Revolut app via eSIM
Number portability + pay with RevPoints
Available to 3M+ German customers.
Partner is 1GLOBAL.
No detailed public how-to yet — if you’re in Germany, check the app. Likely rolling out in waves.

@Jacknomics, our CGO, just posted video on crisis, correlations and return stacking. Must watch!

Crazy that you can create videos like this now using only Opus 5.5

I’ll make it even easier for you.
Just give @mattepstein and @MitcheIl a call.
They will handle the rest.
How to guarantee a viral launch on X:
(from someone who has done ~15% of all launch views on the platform this year)
- set a launch date and time (7am or 9am PT depending on your geos) and reverse engineer everything else
- tell fifty+ people in your network the week before, not the morning of
- give each of them one specific thing to do, not "support the launch"
- quote posts beat replies, replies beat likes, and timed beats whenever they see it
- the first twenty minutes decide whether strangers ever see it at all
- announce one thing, not eight
- put the other seven in the thread underneath
- show the product inside the first third of the video
- lead with what someone stops having to do, not what you built
- if it takes more than one sentence to relay to a colleague, rewrite it
- if your competitor launched the same time, either launch ASAP or delay by two weeks (depends on the virality of their launch)
- have the asset finished 3 days early so the accounts you want can plan for it (warm up)
- reply to every comment for the first hour yourself
have PMF lol
How did Delta let this one slip?
We are chronically glued to our phones and you don’t think fast wifi on a plane would raise customer satisfaction dramatically?!
United Airlines says they are hearing from consultants that book themselves onto @Starlink-equipped flights specifically so they can work to and from client sites.
United’s reported Wi-Fi satisfaction scores on Starlink aircraft at more than double those of the rest of the fleet.
United: “On a Starlink flight, we often see round trip time in the 20 to 40 millisecond range. For GEO (Geostationary Earth Orbit) satellites [further away from Earth], you’d routinely see 2,000 milliseconds. It’s literally a hundred times faster.”
A few days ago on SpaceX's Q2 earnings call, Gwynne Shotwell said that they were hearing from an airline that customers are flying shorter hop flights instead of direct, so that they could ensure that they're on a flight with Starlink, something they've never seen before in the industry.
I've said it before and I will say it again.
Trying to time the market make no sense.
If you look at what happened during the Dotcom bubble, Greenspan was already warning of "over exuberance" in the markets before the bubble popped.
This is exactly why passive exposure to equities is inadequate.
Easier than that.

One of the most important posts you could read this month.
Crypto is cyclical: in the ratio between retail and institutional capital.
During hype periods, retail participation rises.
More retail = more uninformed capital.
More uninformed capital = more market inefficiencies.
More inefficiencies = higher PnL potential.
Then the cycle reverses.
Retail disappears = edges shrink and expectancy falls.
During these periods, weaker trading teams and funds also disappear. They are no longer extracting returns from retail flow.
That is the real crypto cycle.
You can observe it in the data. You can also see it behind the scenes in the behavior, performance, and survival rate of crypto trading teams and funds.
The problem has always been passively investing in crypto.
In an asset class that young, with volatility 5x of the S&P500 and the certainty of 99.999% of coins going to zero it has never made sense on average to "HODL" altcoins.
What has made a lot of sense and still makes a lot of sense is if you trade the broader market algorithmically long/short.
That way you can take bets both on the way up and the way down and are not stuck with chasing the narrative.
Just talked to someone who still has more or less the same net worth as when he started in crypto 10 years ago
He now wants to double down and put in even more hours to finally ¨make it¨
I told him ¨if you still have not figured it out during the last decade of crypto when the truly exponential gains happened, you won´t during the next in which this market is more mature and much more difficult to navigate, maybe this is just not your path to walk. There is no shame, really no shame at all in walking away and trying something else. At least you did not lose everything during the last 10 years and can still live well and can explore other options¨
Important lesson in here: the vast majority of people ever active in crypto lost it all, some broke even, and only few really made incredible gains. This is just how markets, and especially the crypto-market, works. Of course giving up is not something i encourage, but if you have been pushing yourself for a very long time, tried trading, tried investing, and it all failed, maybe it is just not meant for you and you should try something else in life
