Opportunities at Jackson can open doors far beyond graduation. Just ask Abby LaPole. 🏀 At Jackson, Abby competed in wheelchair basketball and became a three-time state champion in seated shot put. Now a freshman at the University of Texas at Arlington, she is one of 20 athletes selected to the initial roster for the 2027 U.S. Women’s U25 Wheelchair Basketball Team. Her next step is a selection camp, where she’ll compete for one of 12 spots representing our country. Abby’s hard work — and the opportunities to compete, develop and represent her school — give our community plenty to celebrate. We’re cheering you on, Abby!
