Thank you! Those will likely be my last two competitive runs @UtahOlympicPark in my career, so I set out today to just enjoy them ❄️❤️

Congrats @MirelaRahneva on your 4th career World Cup victory.
whoooo! Had hoped to dip into the 49s but can’t complain with two pr’s! And to witness @MirelaRahneva set a track record and take the 🥇
Jaclyn LaBerge with a 5.26 off the top, most everyone's been slower off the top in this 2nd heat.
@JaclynLaberge set a PR in the first run, and is a tenth faster than that in the second run. A best ever time will put her in the leader's box, 50.04 downtime, combined 1:40.18

A message to parents: Join us! Help us make this sport safe for your kids and the next generation. Amplify our call for an independent investigation. We all just want the sport of gymnastics to be the joy-filled experience we know it can be.

.@Gym4ChangeCan has renewed calls for an independent investigation into widespread claims of physical, mental and sexual abuse in Canadian gymnastics. The organization’s co-founder @kimshore2022 joins @AntonyRobart to discuss what needs to be done to bring about change.

BCS's plan to retain power after multi calls for resignations.
But the power at all costs crew took their ball, went home, and made new rules that benifit them.
BCS doesn't care about bobsleigh or skeleton. If they did they would've resigned 6 months ago.

The AGM has been moved to Whistler. Great way to isolate the athletes without having the support like they did in Calgary.
Don’t be surprised if their next steps are to invalidate as many member and athlete votes as possible at the AGM.

•AGM date is set on the day the athletes travel.
•Official training for racing starts the following day after AGM
•You are required to be there in-person (OUT OF PROVINCE)
If there was ever a question of being intentional with a personal agenda, this is the most blatant act.
Way to go @empty_kate !!!

We hear you. A GymCan board member, simultaneously appointed to SDRCC Board of Directors, while Gymnasts for Change Canada is trying to work with OSIC. Perceived conflict of interest is as daunting as any actual conflict. Sport can’t adjudicate sport.

Would be really nice if @BobCANSkel could get their poop in a group ASAP, for the sake of their current athletes. 2 weeks ago the ‘agm’ was halted, and there has been no communication. Canadians started sliding yesterday, & in just over 3 weeks international comps start!

“Basically, the message the police came back with repeatedly was this was a lot of work to go through... I was told, ‘You’re going to take a peace bond and move on. This has shattered me. I've developed PTSD. I have nightmares. I don't trust anyone.”
A woman who alleges she was sexually assaulted in London, ON, in March 2018 by two men, one a Western University hockey player and the second a minor pro player, told TSN she was discouraged by London police from pressing charges.

2 weeks since the BCS President walked out of the AGM denying athletes and members the right to vote. Zero Update or communication.
Remind me again of this “Democratic Process” and whose best interest is being considered....I’m pretty sure it doesn’t include athletes or members.
Back @slidingcentre ❄️❤️
Back in Whistler for another #SnipersCamp Hoping the weather cools off enough for the ice to stick #skeleton #SnipersCrew @slidingcentre

We can't stop until we figure out who is actually in charge. The new national crisis is realizing we've built a system with no one at the top. Literally no levers to ensure it's operating with integrity, equity, inclusion, safety and wellbeing as core values.

This is good news, (let the real work begin) but it took too long and was too hard to remove this NSO’s CEO and board that had lost the trust of their membership. Imagine the challenge for other sports with limited media and no major sponsors to turn the screws.
Interesting that apparently @BobCANSkel funding has been withheld - but this wasn’t brought up when financials were presented and discussed at the “AGM” (if that’s what we want to call it 😒) thestar.com/sports/amateur/a…
