Wow. Thank you @cargile_wade for the kind words and the recognition.
PLAYMAKER ON THE RISE ALERT 🚨🚨🚨
JACOB BECKET, 6'4, 205, QB/ATH, Manhattan, '29, with the defending state champs rolling over teams on a 5-game winning streak, this young gun has gotten a chance to get acclimated to the varsity game at QB & has scored a couple of TDs while picking up 137 yds rushing & averaging 9+ per carry; a dual-threat, he also has a strong, accurate arm, can make throws at all 3 levels & is particularly dangerous passing on the move; with ideal size, speed & athleticism, he is only going to get better as this is just his second year as a QB, having played TE/OLB prior; this playmaker has a high-ceiling game & is ready for a big next step. Keep grindin' my man @JacobTBecket 👊
Football Friday, watched my sister play VB Saturday, Baseball Sunday, and now a fun night in our last JV game of the year as @Tribe_Football took down WR 40-6. But back to work, more to learn, and a lot of room to get better.
Next up 6A District playoffs vs T High Friday night.
From Football Friday to Baseball today. Gave up 1 run with a couple strikeouts in 2.1 innings of work. Swung the bat well and enjoyed being back out there.

Felt like football weather tonight and @Tribe_Football (5-2, 3-0) won big at T High. Got an opportunity in the 2nd half and we started slow but found our groove, moved the chains and I was fortunate to get into the endzone for my 2nd Varsity TD. Back to work.

Jaylen Warren is the first player to have an 80-yd TD reception and a 50-yd TD run in the same game since Herschel Walker in 1986.
Fun night at Bishop as the @Tribe_Football JV made it a clean sweep over JC 44-6. 2 TDs passing & 2 rushing but the best part was watching our D suffocate their offense. Getting better but work to do. Thrilled my grandma made it too.
Next up: Varsity vs Emporia for Homecoming.
Felt good to get back on the hill at the Prep Baseball Fall Challenge today. Went 2.2 innings with 4K’s on a strict pitch count against a really good Angry Unicorns team. Barn 16U Biery will be the 5 seed for bracket play tomorrow.

Took some shots today but we kept coming. It was a team effort and I’m thrilled multiple guys found success on the way to a convincing victory for @Tribe_Football JV over Hayden.
Still work to do.
Next up Varsity at JC.
Enjoyed the day at the @PrepBaseballKS HS Invite Showcase. Great set up at @JCCCBaseball, good competition and pleased with my outing especially for it being in the middle of Football with limited Baseball reps. Appreciate the invite and opportunity to compete. Back to the lab.
1st @Tribe_Football Varsity TD tonight in 2nd qtr. vs Wichita North. Thrilled to also share in similar successes with my underclass teammates. More work to do but fun to see some our work to this point pay off.
Back at it Monday vs Hayden and then it’s officially BEAT JC Week.
