Only seen a tiny bit of it so far, but the longer this goes on, the more “he must be crap” / “he can’t be that good in training” / “the manager knows more than we do” responses will take hold. Inevitable but a load of crap and it’s important to push back on it when they do occur
Sky know exactly what they're doing here by clipping up this exact snippet as they know it'll get good engagement. Not really the best way to handle someone who's clearly just very awkward on camera!
Not having this stick Bijol has been receiving, aside from one or two dodgy moments today which the wind certainly didn't aid, he was good and defended our box well. Think it's a result of that, his slightly dodgy time against Chelsea and shiny new toy Elvedi doing well.
The good thing is even when we're shit we rarely lose but we really are a tough watch at times aren't we, 'Elland Road under the lights' aside
For people in the quotes, 90% of the time when Farke says 'doubtful' they end up playing!
DF: "All offensive players are doubtful, Calvert-Lewin is struggling with a bruise on his foot. Still a question mark behind his availability.
"Stach has a foot problem, and Okafor has some adductor problems. If game was today, nonne would play" #lufc

I've never really understood even knowledgable people telling me that DCL is a poor finisher. If you give him the chances he thrives on in the penalty area as we do he's going to get you goals
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored 20 goals for Leeds in just 48 appearances, the quickest player to score 20 goals for the club as a Premier League side since Mark Viduka in 2000-01 (20 in 43 games). #lufc
Does bemuse me a little the way people are talking about us. Are we a decent team? Yes. Hard to play against? Yes. Are we anything special and will challenge for anything? Probably not. And that's okay. We should absolutely not be spoken about in the same breath as Brighton lol.

As much as there are parts to his management that I don't like and think he could improve on, it's hard to doubt that he's doing a good job and will deliver solid seasons. I think we may see the limit of that this year but the club will be satisfied with that as ER gets expanded.
I know the KO time doesn't help but I really hope we can generate a good atmosphere on Sunday. Feels like every time we've played them at home this decade it's been pretty flat apart from that 5 minute spell under Bielsa where we came back from 2 down.

Think for me going into this season regarding Farke was to see how we played against the teams we struggled against last season. Arsenal and Brighton away were two of our most disappointing performances last season, compared to this season it’s night and day.
On today's edition of Leeds Das and Mas being stupid they've fallen for an obvious fake engagement bait quote
🚨 Roy Keane on the refereeing in Arsenal vs Leeds:
🗣️“Are Arsenal players immune to yellow cards or what? Because I don’t understand what I’m watching here.
The entire first half has been about Leeds players getting booked. Every time you look, another Leeds player is in trouble with the referee.
But the Tanaka booking for the challenge on Lewis-Skelly was ridiculous. Skelly tried to dribble past him, lost the ball, and Tanaka read it perfectly to win possession. What exactly has he done wrong there?
I genuinely don’t understand the decision. Even Tanaka’s reaction tells you everything. The lad couldn’t believe he’d been booked.
Look, if it’s a foul, it’s a foul. Book him if he’s committed a bookable offence. But you have to apply the same standards to both teams. You cannot keep punishing one side and expect people not to question your decisions.
The consistency is the problem here, and the referee needs to explain that decision.”
Won't be devastated with a draw but there's no excuses not to win against them next week. They're garbage. Go and do it again.
