Public Charter School students make up 1.5% of Alberta students and only receive 1.2% of funding. The Alberta government supports all of these students and their families as part of our public education system. #AbEd #AbLeg

Let us be clear: Refugees have never been a burden, but imperialism has. The readiness for countries to accept refugees when they're white vs Black & Brown or from predominantly Black & Brown countries must be acknowledged. All ppl facing violence deserve safety.

PROTESTORS: We told you to leave. We gave you time to leave. We were slow and methodical, yet you were assaultive and aggressive with officers and the horses. Based on your behaviour, we are responding by including helmets and batons for our safety.

Are women settling or is the good man ‘bar’ so low they genuinely think they got one of the good ones?

I’m the co-founder of a black women-owned plant shop based in Montclair, NJ. We’re in the process of opening one of the few brick & mortar black-owned plant shops in the country! One like/RT puts us that much closer to our dreams💕🌿 ig: devine.plantery

Sadly, public boards have resisted some programming members of the public wanted. Case in point, highly successful Foundations for the Future type of program. CBE resisted on basis of beliefs about learning (not facts) and only started offering TLCs when losing students to FFCA.

Would you like more quotes from that handbook? "A charter school is a public school that provides a basic education in a different or enhanced way to improve student learning." Or this: "Charter schools cannot deny access, if sufficient space and resources are available"

Following our internal review of the incident in Central Park yesterday, we have made the decision to terminate the employee involved, effective immediately. We do not tolerate racism of any kind at Franklin Templeton.
