People ask me if it's too late to change.
Here's what I tell them as a neurosurgeon:
Your brain keeps building new connections for as long as you're alive. Neuroplasticity doesn't retire at 40. Or 60. Or 80.
It slows down. It doesn't stop.
Which means the calmer, kinder, braver version of you is not behind you.
It's waiting on your next rep.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day." 2 Corinthians 4:16

Your past didn’t break you, it built the version of you that people can’t mess with now.

Every brand sits somewhere on these dials:
• Raw ↔ Polished
• Casual ↔ Formal
• High energy ↔ Calm
• Accessible ↔ Exclusive
• Fun ↔ Serious
• Teacher ↔ Documenter
• Private ↔ Open book
Pick on purpose.

Stop counting the hours.
Start counting the attempts.
You don't get better by watching the clock.
You get better by doing the work, making mistakes and trying again.

First product = 4 sales.
Second product = 93+ sales.
First cohort = Flop.
Second cohort = 67 seats sold.
First client = I did a refund.
Last client = he paid me extra.
You don’t need a perfect start.
You need to learn and try again.

One reason so many average people stay poor is that no one wants to do the hard thing. Everyone seeks comfort, and that's human nature, a human tendency.
The other thing people struggle with most is commitment. Even when they choose to take the risk, the grass is always greener, and so they don't stay committed. And even if they do stay committed, very few people can do the boring stuff over a long time horizon.
That's doing the fundamentals, the unsexy, dirty work.
Most people either don't stick with it long enough because of distractions, or they get bored doing the mundane parts.
Show up every day long enough, and you ultimately find the success you're looking for.

One of the reasons so many average people stay poor is because they believe they are special. They believe their life is going to magically change because they're going to get a letter in the mail from magic school inviting them on an adventure.
The reality is, we get those letters every single day. They just look like risk and a shitload of work, with no guarantee of a payoff.
