I, for one, appreciate SSAA making the playoffs correct but their standards. Hearing a lot of changes are coming next year, I just hope schools stick through the growing pains so those goals can be obtained.

I think SSAA could solve issues by going to conferences. Conferences being distinctly different from districts by not being required. Conference champions (4 per side) get an auto bid to playoffs, the remaining 4 spots be determined by the same system that’s in place now.

Let everyone play a round robin to determine conference champions. Use points allowed vs conference opponents to be the tie breaker to deter teams from wanting to run it up to help their rankings. Make conferences flexible to accommodate teams opting out. Reward SSAA play!

Congrats, Coach. You were my least favorite DC I ever coached against, for all the right reasons. Lol. Enjoy the next few weeks!

26 years of coaching, 17 on these sidelines. Last home game comes to an end tonight. Been a great career and a great run. Had the opportunity to coach a lot of great kids and great football players. Went out with a dub and a shutout. Time for the playoffs 🤞🏻🤞🏻!!

Food for thought: there are teams that will never even be eligible to make the open 8 because their required district games will kill their SOS. And there is literally nothing anyone can do about it.

Mayo > Trenton > Branford > Mayo > Dixie > trenton > Chiefland > Dixie This would be such a fun end of year recap. Rural football is awesome.
