Apologies to anyone affected by my late arrival at surgery today. I was unavoidably held up at a Mid Suffolk Overview & Scrutiny meeting that overran. Sorry to those who waited and had to leave — if that was you, please do call me. Otherwise, I hope to catch up in the new year.

I’m delighted to have been elected to represent Central Suffolk and North Ipswich in Parliament. Thank you to everyone who voted, my team for working so hard throughout the election period and to the other candidates for running civilised and decent campaigns.

A big thank you to our Town Awards sponsors for supporting the event as all of this wouldn’t have been possible without your generosity. Our main sponsor Morar Living and catergory sponsor Everyone Active
Had a great morning at Suffolk Fresh Ltd in Bramford! 3 generations of the Marks family grow tomatoes in this modern greenhouse. At full capacity, they'll produce 150t/week (around 7% of the UK's production) and employ ~80 people. Minimal chemicals, high efficiency. Buy British.

Apologies for straying slightly off topic but we have had very little rain over the last 2 weeks and little is in the forecast. House Martins and Swallows need mud for nesting. If you are able to, then keeping a muddy patch damp will help them greatly @SuffolkBirdGrp

Today we've been out sowing sunflowers in the field beside Bramford Cemetery to provide food for the birds and bees🐝 🐦. This is the second year we've done it to support wildlife in our village plus the field looks fantastic in the summer. 🌻 #SunflowerSeeds #BirdFeeders
At Mid Suffolk digital inclusion matters to us. That's why we started a scheme for residents to borrow iPads from Suffolk libraries, and offer training. #inclusion #digitaldivide
We're committed to making our communities more cycling and walking-friendly. Our 10-year plan identifies and prioritizes around 80 schemes or routes across all parts of Mid Suffolk. #cycling #walking #sustainability
