I was proud to start the day marching for YES for a Voice on the land of the Arakwal people of the Bundjalung nation. Everyone in our beautiful country is better off when those affected by laws and policies have a voice in shaping them.
Hearing directly from survivors is critical to understanding how a country is doing in tackling modern slavery.
I was pleased to support engagements by @JTIP_State with people with varying lived experiences of modern slavery in New South Wales.
Looking forward to speaking about how managing #modernslavery risks can help Australian investors unlock value - and improve outcomes for people.
Secure your seat today to hear Dr James Cockayne speak on the governance risks posed by modern slavery, and the steps that companies and investors can take to responsibly govern those risks.
