By this time last year, I was unraveling so badly. Life as I had come to know it was falling apart before my eyes.
But God kept me. And I’m grateful to Him. 🤲🏽

Hate to be on this part of Twitter, but this reminds me of my Undergraduate Thesis—“Spectrophotometric analysis and quality evaluation of Amlodipine tablet formulations”.
I investigated 6 commercial brands of amlodipine, comparing them to the innovator brand, Norvasc.
The historic creeds - Apostles’, Nicene, Athanasian, & Chalcedon - do not have more authority than the Bible. They have more authority than you.

Someone is advertising a 2nd generation laptop as 8th generation to me 😂
Telling me not to miss the opportunity to buy it 😂
If you must be an apologist for your tradition, you have to be epistemically humble like Austin Suggs, well-read like Canon and Creed, respectful like Trent Horn.
You have to be charitable as the likes of Gavin Ortlund and Erick Ybarra.
The argument is that grades don't always tell the extent of one's intelligence, it's not that grades don't matter or that you don't need to work hard to graduate with a better grade.
Grades doesn't always translate to having better skills, and that's the crux of the issue.
The responses to this shows too many Nigerians are a bunch of hypocrites.
"grades are not a measure of intelligence"
But will cry when someone from Yobe scores 25 and gets into Federal above a person that scored 200.
They forget that the fellow that scored 25 did so cos, English is not their first Language, Fends for the family and is actually smart.
It is the pentecostal mentality that wants "the rules will be suspended for me" dey drive this nonsense.
The same people dey interview person for work. Have they not seen people that perform bad in an interview go on to be great employees? And vice versa.
Everyone knows there are always exceptions, but 10/10 the sample of first class will ALWAYS outperform that of a 2-2.
I consider myself smart and my 2:2 no dey define me. In all ramifications, 20 years after graduation, I'd say my economic and output no correlate with my class results.
HOWEVER is be a liar to say my results do not reflect my dedication to my academic work or general discipline. Men dey roll dice outside 500LT when Okaka, Akeze, Ogbeide et al dey pound their books.
Then after 5 years the results show and it should not be a factor in their favor?
Fa fa fa, foul!
Of course, it is a sensible strategy to look for rough diamonds. But because say occasional gems can be found in bend down select no mean say the things we dem dey sell for Aoyoma or Ginza Tokyo is overrated.
PS: I had moved on from this but I keep seeing my 2:2 colleagues want to reap the rewards of labor they did not put in because "my mummy has always said I'm smart".
Na the same person dey comment on tweets that go "where is the smartest person in your set today".
Hoping for evil and always end up disappointed with the comments.
