Landmark moment in life for Blake’s first game #NUFC 3 #EFC 2 - what a game for your first match! #NEWEVE
Imagine if Newcastle 3 Everton 2 was your first ever game - My 4 year son will never forget this... #nufc bit.ly/2TICwDm

Not sure what to think here. Facts point to #NUFC being statistically better off than in their poorest seasons. However, I’d point to the fixtures as a variable. Liverpool our only really tricky game and I find it unlikely we’ll take anything from our next 2 (possibly 3) so this may be comparable after 12/13 games…

I hate jumping on this sort of thing, but Wissa utterly destroyed us today. Actually getting a goal needlessly chalked off was bad enough, but slow, deep-lying, poor decision making constantly dismantled our attacks #NUFC

That’s a shocker disallowing a front post goal for a questionable half foul at the back post among players that weren’t getting near the scorer or the ball. Wissa advancING from not scoring to actively removing goals from #NUFC

Retweeting this so I can find in my own timeline when I lose it, and so friends might see it who I can beat
I made a football quiz game where the obvious answer is the worst answer. 7 questions a day, give it a go before midnight 👇 longshots.app

Entertaining Rafa chat on latest Mag Pod. Hopefully this seems even sillier this evening, but I’m not too confident #NUFC
Shout out for latest #TheMagPod ahead of situation getting better/worse for #NUFC at Fulham today. Increasing desperation includes Rafa Benitez’ name being mentioned by many… podfollow.com/themagpod

Was at an Ashes test in Australia a few years back and was pointing out the commentary box to Mrs S. Former #WAFC #BCAFC & #DCFC manager Paul Jewell was sat right in front of it and waved cos he thought I was pointing at him. Bit awks
My mum once knocked over Val Doonican in a corridor. What's your claim to fame? The more tenuous and/or secondhand, the better.

Honestly not ruling out #NUFC winning today but it will be more down to Fulham not showing up as #CPFC did a few weeks back. Feels entirely dependent on whether Barnes has an actual shot that goes in before the defence presents them with the opener.
Goes without saying that result is important for #nufc at Fulham today but we need to see some evidence that the system works, the players understand what they're trying to do and there's a bit of structure and fluency about Newcastle. Everything Monday wasn't basically. Jaissle certainly made a good case for change on Thursday - now need performance to back it up

Let’s be honest here, we all know what they’re waiting for before they press the button for the “New Manager Bounce”™️ - right #NUFC fans??
🚨 Régis Le Bris’ position as Sunderland Head Coach is safe — and he continues to have the full support and confidence of Sunderland’s hierarchy. 🇫🇷 The Frenchman remains central to #SAFC plans and ambitions, despite the club sitting bottom of the Premier League table. The belief within the club is the 50-year-old will turn things around. ⬇️ There is an internal recognition that recent Premier League results have been disappointing, and the club understand current frustrations felt by supporters. 🫡 The club believe stability, collective responsibility and a united approach is the way forward for #SAFC as they look to achieve their ambitions, both domestically and in Europe.

It’s become a perpetrated myth that the “big 6” (or 5 to be precise as #MCFC have never been welcome in it) were set in stone with the invention of football, as opposed to being at the top at the right time
Carragher may be right, Villa may never match Man United’s size. But before Shankly, neither did Liverpool. Look what he built! Why shouldn’t Villa have our own Busby, Fergie, Shankly, or Paisley? It’s a massive ask, but our absolute biggest chance of that is with Emery. #avfc

This draw, for me, decides the Carabao Cup. Really needed tough draws for Liverpool and Man City but likely both are in the semis and at least one in the final surely.
The Carabao Cup quarter-finals are set! 🏆 The ties will take place during the week commencing 14 December.

Commentators in the Sunderland match seem to be after blaming the wind on the fact they’ve been forced to come to the wild North East as opposed to national weather warnings

I understand with their age profile it isn’t sustainable to keep Schar and Burn long term at the back. However, the organisation, leadership and willingness to put their head in or take a yellow for a clever foul is night and day to the silent defending seen so far. Hornicek and Gonzalez looked better with them too. Keep them in while the new signings settle in and the season stabilises. #NUFC
