Teared up like *a lot* throughout the whole inauguration but held it together but then they just kept throwing cute children dancing or old people with diseases and positivity and then the New Radicals played a generically uplifting song and now I’m a mess.

If we side step accountability for the sake of "unity," we will have unity in the way a battered wife has unity with the abusive husband she's scared to leave. It is scary, but we can do this.

I want Trump to be removed so that every 5th grader who asks “why was Mike Pence President for 2 days” hears a story about why white supremacy & fascism are threats to democracy. Millions of students in the next decades will ask this question and will know to reject fascism.
